How to output processed AND unprocessed signal at the same time ?

  • Hello all,

I was wondering : With the kemper, is it possible to output at the same time the current selcted profile sound AND a second totaly unprocessed signal for later reamp needs for example ?

If yes, could you explain me how ?

Thanks in advance for your help ! ;)

  • Yes! Press the Output button to go to the Output settings, then use the Page buttons to reach the screen where you can select the source for each output.

    * If you're using the analog outputs, use the Main output for the profile sound (set to Stack, or Mod, or Master, depending on what part of the chain you want -- with or without the post-amp effects). Then, connect the Direct output on the back of the Kemper to another input of your recording device, and set it to "Git analog", "Git + processing" or "Git studio". Check the manual for the difference between these settings.

    * If you're using S/PDIF, set the S/PDIF output to one of the sources that start with "Git /" (for instance: "Git / Stack"). The unprocessed signal will then be the left channel of the S/PDIF stream, and the profile sound will be the right channel. The only drawback is, obviously, that you can't simultaneously get the profile sound in stereo and the unprocessed sound this way.
