Hi man, nice to see you here! Is not the distortion sense (leave it in the middle) but the clean sense that you need to adjust (as a guideline below 5 for HB and below 7 for SC). Go also in the Master menu and check the levels, default is 0db, I keep mine at a Mixer/Interface more friendly level of -10db
-
Not working. My clean sensitivity was on 0.0. I can move it anywhere and it's still doing it. The other volumes are low enough too
-
Main outs to interface? If you further reduce the master is it still there? What version of FW are you running? Sorry for the questions, just trying to figure out where the problem is...
-
I have clips. I mean, no pun intended, but I have clips of the clips.

Looks like KPA-Version 7059.
Or is that something else?

Can you go to the above link and download firmware 1.0.4. (FW 7097) and see if this is fixed? -
Cool! I will after my Skype lessons. Is that one stable? Cause I was thinking of picking up an FRFR on the way to my gig and trying to use the KPA tonight. I can ignore the clipping (heck, it's a covers gig, who gives a crap?). I just can't have it melting down on me (I'll have a backup, but still).
-
Yes, 1.0.4 is the most stable right now - or so it appears. Some users have issues, a few ones don't. So I would not recommend to upgrade yet.
The new one that was just released (1.0.5) has a popping or audio drop issue.Just select "older operating system versions" on the link above for 1.0.4. to appear.
-
They all say "public beta". Are you sure "1.0.4 Public Beta" is safe?
-
Yes, those are all public beta versions.
Of all the betas, 1.0.4 has the least issues right now.
It was the most stable beta FW up to date. -
Hi suckamc !
Nice to see you here !

Still got those awesome Lentz axes ?
cheers,

Some users are experiencing audio drop outs, freezes and crashes with 1.0.5.
Downgrading to 1.0.4. fixed these issues. So don't install 1.0.5. - go to 1.0.4. just to be safe - until we have some info from support what the deal with 1.0.5. is. -
Thanks for the warm welcome, Reznor and Guitarnet!
Updated the firmware but it's still doing it. Should I post clips?
-
Yes please, are they stock profiles?
-
Sorry to ask the bleeding obvious here: are you getting the distortion / clipping with more than one guitar? I presume you've tried a few?
-
Yeah, different guitars, different cables. And yeah, stock profiles, too.

Clip clips

There are the 1.0 alpha and the 1.0.x beta versions
Yes, 1.04 is the best - I use 1.05 and hope for 1.06 soon ....
