is Reactive load needed with the Kemper ?

    Hi all. was looking at Suhr's Reactive Load box, looks really interesting , but was wondering if it was needed with the Kemper ? anybody tried at all ? Thanks so much. cheers. Mehdi

    Connecting any active device to the speaker output of the Powered Profiler will ultimately destroy the internal power amp and possibly also your external gear and is therefore not recommended. Actually there is a warning on the back of the Profiler regarding this.
    If you are considering to use a reactive load box for taking profiles it is also not recommended because it will not give you the optimal results.

    hjscheffler , thanks so much for your reply, what about the torpedo live or studio ? seen a few people use those with the Kemper. cheers.

    you can run one of the line level outputs into an external cab sim like the tornado if you want to.
    It is not recommended for profiling applications and as i mentioned already no active device should ever be connected to the speaker output!
