I gigged last night with the latest firmware. Masses of switching and midi control and not a single cause for concern.

So, after installing 5.7.4 I activated and disactivated the loop in a rig.
After disactivating there was no red LED and the volume of the rig was much lower than with activated loop.
In the loop there is just a TC Electronics Mimiq Doubler.
The settings of the loop are the same as in 5.7.2 !
I don‘t know why the activation of the loop makes it that much louder in 5.7.4 than in 5.7.2 !!!
Edit: In software 5.7.4: if I lower the volume of the loop (in the loop settings) to -5.0 the volume is about the same than 0 in software 5.7.2 !!!
Could you check AUX volumes(should be at 0.0) ? I tried loop FX in the slots with volumes to max - but I cannot replicate this issue.

The volume of everything was not changed by me since software 5.7.2, so why should it be higher in 5.7.4 ?

Good question . @hjscheffler could not replicates this so that's why I'm asking.

You should read a little bit exacter!
He could not reproduce the error because he had no effects in the loop.
It seems that the problem is the loop or some new internal settings of the loop within software 5.7.4 !

well not exactly. I have connected a cable from direct send to return in. No issue with fx loop with this connection. This must be specific to your kpa or backup or mimic fx. You can easly check if this is mimic issue buy bypassing it with this direct connection. But from now i can not help you further. Good luck wit your issue!

I gigged with 5.7.4 with the loop engaged last night, Ditto Jam Looper and EH Synth 9. No issues for me. I'd suggest trying what Damian has already suggested.

You did realize that I don‘t have this issue with 5.7.2 and 5 minutes later after the update to 5.7.4 there is the issue? After another 5 minutes later and re-installing 5.7.2 the issue is gone again.
So where will the issue be? In the Kemper? In the Mimiq? In the cables?

I do realize and I belive you. From my experience sometimes it is good to know how the issue behave with different connections. For instance you did not mentioned how do you connected your mimiq pedal since it have stereo ins and outs. The issue may be in the alternative input not the return in.
Also from my experience , when I need someone assistance I'm providing so much info as I can and I cooperate to provide log files ect. This helps to narrow or recreate the issue faster .
Cheers!

We found the cause for the issue. It`s a bug in the stereo FX loop that changes the level of the return signal.
Our programmers are already working on a fix.
In the meantime please turn down the volume level of the FX loop as a workaround.

Thanks for your help!

Congrats on all who helped and cooperated to identify and solve the issue. Definitely one of the best things about this community.
Im 2 updates behind and I'm scared to update now. Should I wait or update? I cannot afford to be without my kemper as I use it for recording and live use with no backup at the moment.
Rapidfire only you can determine if the risk is worth it. When in doubt, make a back up and give it a try. It doesn't take that long and its good practice to back up often anyways.

With the new Beta no problems.
The loop works fine, no red lights on Output LED anymore.
Thank you!!!

I ran into this myself this weekend, but with Loop Distortion. I have not updated to 5.7.5 yet, but only Loop Stereo is mentioned in the changelog. Fortunately I had read about it, and I lowered the volume for the loop. I will check if 5.7.5 fixes it. Or it could be a coincidence and my distortion pedal was already clipping before 5.7.4, but it sounds so bad I think I would have noticed already.
