Connecting a Fractal FX8

    This may be a basic hookup but I am terrible with this stuff but wanting to learn. I am wanting to hookup my Fractal FX8 to my Kemper. I just picked up a midi cable but can't seem to get it to work, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Rather than midi, you probably want to use normal guitar cables.


    The simplest method would be:

    Guitar - (input) FX8 (output) - Kemper


    In that configuration I'd avoid using reverb in the FX8, because the Kemper amp stage will distort the reverb, which isn't usually what you're after.

    thank you, I'm going to order a humbuster cable for extra noise reduction just in case. I've been using it with my tube amps and it is great but I find myself using my Kemper primarily anymore. Thanks again
