not a bad test/experience anyway, if I consider the prevoius video I did when the Harley Benton was Original, just unboxed.

In that video it seems to me that the Harley Benton was even more On/Off than the Dunlop.. and of course it sounded different

Why a 1k resistor? 1w or 1/2w?

this potentiometer would be good?

In the end I didn't use it.

About the pot, it must be at least ok to mount that "plastic crown" in order to be controlled by the "plastic saw bar".

the plastic crown and saw are in the kit (see the 1rst link below)

it's a shame the strymon's page no longer exists. I base this on your work

So, what i have found to do an exp pedal in Europe :

Wah Enclosure : 40€

Potentiometer 10k : 5€

Embase 1/4 Stereo : 4€

resistance 1k : 0,2€

hydrodipping kit : 35€

Total : 85€

Check if the components are the right ones (tell me if ther is an error) and we will have a list to do our shopping

Hehhe.. Exaclty! I've been there before You! That's why I've bought a 2nd hand harley benton for less than 85 (. ..maybe 55/60?) Removed everything but the original pot, And put a stereo output jack.

The greatest difference is the sweep: Linear Vs Log. Depending of the pot (linear in the HB)

It s just a matter of sweep.

SO.. later, I choose to keep the linear one for Morph/pitch/expression and to use the dunolp for wha wah only.

I painted my crybaby I converted to Kemper green...looks great and I've been using it for about 7 years...

I didn;t change any pots, and its a bit on/off but then I find crybaby's are also a bit like that...

yes, I put some in but it doesn't change anything.

It's not the Pot, I think it's the toothed pulley + the toothed rod which are not as good "quality" as on the Dunlop. We'll have to see over time if it will soften, but it doesn't bother me that much.

I also tried to recover these 2 parts on my CAE MC404 which gave up the ghost and it turns out that these 2 parts are certified (same thing on the crybaby).

On the other hand, I was able to recover the rod guide which was far too short in my kit. that of the MC404 is perfect.

The white dress also comes from this pedal.
