Hi,
How about adding a de-tuner just like the Morpheus pedal (half step by half step). I don't think it has already been requested in this section.

but your VanHalen.. your the chuckNorris of tunings! - de-tune with your mind!! all will be ok.
(Seriously) - there is a effect like that already in the latest release. - cant remember what its called as Im not in front of it. - but look in the announcements thread will tell you there, as part of the Lo-Fi pack.
Is it the "Frequency Shifter" effect ?
Yeah thats the one, - tweek the manual mode in it for detunings - not sure if its exactly what your after, but thats effect sprang to mind as soon as I read your post..
Ok, thanks for your answer and44.
The problem with the Frequency Shifter is that it mixes with the original signal. So if you try to shift down a whole step to play something in D standard you get a nice D+E. There is a mix knob, but it is the percent of the shifted signal to be mixed in with the original.
It would be nice if that was + or - 100% so you could take out the original frequency and be left with the shifted frequency. Of course I could be doing it wrong.
You really need to pitch shift each string signal individually which is impossible since your guitar has a single signal for all strings. Any frequency shifter works well one note at a time but gets confused when fed a chord. Roland's GK pickup system has six isolated outputs and when used with their polyphonic gear such as the VG-99 or GR-55, can achieve ANY alternate tuning with the press of a button.
Probably not gonna find a standard stompbox that detunes without wierd artifacts and glitches when playing chords....but we can hope!
