Kemper Remote does not work.

    Hello everyone,


    today I have bought the Kemper Remote.

    When I plugged it in and fired up my Profiler nothing happened. There only was a line on the display, which went up and down.


    Now here comes the very weird point:

    I connected my remote to the profiler of my other guitar player and it worked fine. So we took his remote and plugged it into my profiler and it worked.


    This means the remote is not defective, the ethernet plug of my profiler and the cable aren't either.


    So the big question here is: Why does my remote not work with my profiler, but the other remote does and why do both remotes work perfectly with the other profiler?


    Has anyone here experience the same thing?

    Do you have different KAOS versions.

    Because the Remote is also being updated.

    Best would be to boot the latest KAOS from USB stick while remote is connected.

    Doublecheck also the net cable.

    His profiler is at Kaos 5.3 mine is up to date.

    We checked the cable. Swapped mine with his. But still nothing.
