Get a HUGE sound with the reverb!

  • Hi guys,

by messing around with the reverb I came across a setting that blew me away.

    1. Choose a rig you like (works best with gainy rigs)
    2. enable reverb with the following settings:

Mix: between 70 and 95% depending on how "huge" you want your rig to sound ;)
    Del+rev balance: 0%
    Time: 0.0
    Damping: 5
    Predelay: 0ms
    Bandwidth: 0.0
    Frequency: 0.0
Volume: 0.0 (or where you like it, doesn't affect the sound)

Tell me what you think :)

  • Interesting, but I didn't really get that huge sound feeling. It did sound good though when mixed with what I usually prefer instead of reverb:

    Free Delay
    Mix 20%
    Time 210ms
    Ratio 4:2
    Feedback 20%
    Bandwidth 0
    Center Frequency 0
    Modulation 2.5
    Volume 0

Go for it now. The future is promised to no one. - Wayne Dyer

  • yeah i use those type of reverbs all the time really short ambience its almost like simulating the room the guitar cabinet was in , bleeding into the mics it sounds great and i almost cant stand guitars without soom room on them

  • i use ambience alot and sometimes the small room set the predelay to zero the mix to 96 percent or so , the time to .7 or less!! this one is important leave bw near 0 frequency maybe 1 or 2

    damping about 5 ish
