Just wondering if anyone has tried any of the profiles with a steel guitar. If so, what were the results. I also play a Sierra 8 string console non pedal steel. it would be great to get rid of my Peavey Nashville 112 amp.

I haven't tried a pedal steel, but judging by the clarity and sparkle of the KPA clean tones I'd imagine a pedal steel will sound awesome.
Listen to some of Bill Rupperts experimental KPA stuff, it's amazing what he achieves using an ordinary guitar.

I am currently playing my Carter 12 String Pedal Steel Guitar through the KPA
Sounds Pretty good with the Fender Amps
The Modulation on the reverb is a right pain as it sounds so unnatural
I wish they could turn the mod effect off....
The latency is about the same as my Line6 Pod Pro, but it does feel more like playing through a real amp
