XLR/Trs verses Trs/Trs connecting to interface

Hi everyone. I’m connecting my KPA to my UAD Apollo x4 with a Trs to and from the KPA to the Apollo.

I’ve read that it’s suggested to run XLR from the KPA to the interface via TRS. Is there any particular benefit to using the XLR/TRS cable vs the TRS/TRS that I’m using? It seems to work well for me but I’m fine with buying the XLR/TRS cables if it’s beneficial.

The 1/4" outputs aren't balanced TRS outputs, you're basically running an unbalanced TS connection.

If you want a balanced connection, go for XLR (female)->TRS.

If you are using the unit at home then TS connections are fine to use. I use TS with no problems and record with them.
