I have the power rack, remote and Kabinet.
For recording, all the formats are basically the same, so the amp, Kabinet and remote are for live work.
I can only say that if any of mine was stolen, I would buy exactly the same again. Personally I'm not bothered about stereo for live, I think its counterproductive in a regular rock band so I prefer the powered rack for convenience. It helps if I ever play a festival and use their cabs because I can just plug in.
