installed Profiler OS 9.0 and connected the USB to a Linux (Debian) computer. The Profiler USB audio interface is detected an can be selected for output and input. There is just no audible audio sent to the Profiler. There is random crackling only. The input is silent.
Did anybody manage to connect the Profiler USB audio to Linux successfully?
You need a driver for sound. Like WineASIO or Jack. I've read these can be a hassle to configure though.
even after installing a linux distro specially made for musicians , it still was a hassle to get anything working. I strongly recommend making a dual boot with windows
Running Linux Mint 21.1 here, and it was plug-and-play. I'm able to record guitar onto Audacity, and hear music from youtube or wherever.
I run Ubuntu 22.04 and my profiler is detected as Alsa sound card.
However, I can only hear and record DI sound.
Anyone able to get stack/master sound ?
Tried again today. Everything's working fine now in Ubuntu.
Profiler is detected as Alsa and Pulse Audio sound cards. I can get DI, stack and master sound monitoring and recording. Profiler is set in browser mode.
