I have some questions about Kemper PowerHead LOOPER.
When using output power to the Cab and opening LOOPER, switching RIG, the sound will change.
But when using balanced output to connect to a monitor speaker, switching RIG,sound is good.
What is the reason for this.

Looper Issue
Press the System Button
Navigate to page 12/18
Press soft button 4 (top right above the display)
Change Location Loc (press the button)
- Input => sound will change when you switch rigs
- Output => sound will not change when you switch rigs
Output issue
Press the Output button
Navigate to page 1/10
Check the settings for
Main Output (you don't need to change this because you already like the sound)
Monitor Output (try setting this to Master Mono)
If that doesn't help, please tell us what happens when you make these changes. Maybe someone else can help.
Are you using speaker Imprints with the Kabinet?
If so have you set a speaker imprint for each rig to override the global imprint?
Is so I would expect the speaker imprint to affect the sound of the loop as well as the new rig whereas the main outs cant use imprints so the looper would be unaffected.
OK. You might be right.
I will try and test it on mine later and see if I get the same result.
Just tested on my Head. I don't hear any difference when changing sounds with the looper in output position.
I probably won't get a chance today unfortunately. When I tested yesterday I tried it with multiple random rigs with various different gain ranges so I'm pretty confident it's working OK on any rigs for me.
It would be good if someone else could also try and test it but it might be worth raising a support ticket
