Delay/Reverb Spillovers stops after 3 seconds after switching channel

  • Hi!

    See attached file!

I designed the fifth slot of this performance to have massive amount of delay/reverb to spillover when I change slot/channel.

When staying at channel 5, I can hear the dly/reverb trail go as long as 20 seconds. However, when I switch to another channel (channel 3 in this case), the spillover abruptly stops after roughly 3 seconds.

Delay & Reverb are in their right effect spot. Both effect mix position is set to "pre".

In rig setting, the "spillover off" option is "disabled".

I would like to know if it's by design or if I'm missing something!

    Thanks!

  • Ok! thanks for the answer.
However, in my case, the spillover cuts abruptly. Is this something I can control with a setting?

Yes, there is a setting in Rig Settings: "Rig Spillover Off".

In addition make sure, that the new Rig isn't overloaded with complex effects. Spillover has a lower priroty and might be skipped, if the new sound requires to much processing power. This includes effects that are switched off. A clean up of the new Rig might help.
