Question about Panorama or Stereo

Hi.

In some cases, f.e. if you use the Double Tracker, you can set "Stereo", which means the panning of an effect.

In the Double Tracker, you can set "Stereo" to max. 200%.

But how does this work?

Either the effect is panned f.e. left, then it should be 100% left.

Or it is not panned straight to the left. Then it should be less than 100%.

Why 200% ???

Does this mean with 100% the panning is just "half of the way" to the left side?

Well, what does "super stereo" mean exactly?

You cannot be more left than left!

Yes, I hear a difference.

But again, you cannot be more left than left.

So what does this effect really do?

So it has nothing to do with panning, but

with processing the signal.
