I believe he sold the guitar he used to create the Bond riff for something like $60,000+ to those guys at Black and Gold Pawn shop in Vegas (Pawn Stars).

There is a personal funny side story on the pawn shop; Wife and I were trying to find the pawn shop on a visit. We asked pedestrians on the strip where the Pawn Stars were located. They looked at us with hard stares. You see, our heavy accented southern language sounded like "Porn Stars" to them. They thought we were perverts. It wasn't until I wrote it down that a pedestrian finally knew what we were saying.
