Dynamic Convolution of Effect-Gear

Hi There,

Have you guys considered doing dynamic convolution of additional effects, outboard, eqs and so on? Really like to scan my outboard and plugins to combine them with existing profiles.

However,

Imo the profiler is not just a f*ckin amazing piece of art .. It will change the game ...

Go to the rig exchange and search for the author 'r.u.sirius'. He has done some impressive profiling, not only amps and stomps but also outboard gear.

However,

What i was thinking of is something like profiling your effectpedal or eq and saving this in a sepparate bank independent from the main amp profile ...

Yes, this is what we mean.
It has been done often, especially by the two aforementioned authors.
Note that you cannot profile any time based FX in the signal chain like delay, chorus, reverb etc.

This has been requested like one week after release, least year. Doesn't look to be feasable (....yet,....maybe....)

Edit: Ingolf: he mean profiling a pedal and saving it in B, let's say. That is not possible

I think the profiling amp is capable of doing this but there might be something with patents, etc...

Meanwhile i'll check those all in one presets...

Well,

Im terms of emulating studio-eqs, compressors, and channelstrips (and my beloved el fatso) there is something else

The UAD apollo interface ... I am using these plugs in my studio a lot since years... With the apollo you can now use these with ultra low latency (somewhat about 1,5 ms) .. In addition to the kpa ... A dream comes true ...

But to be honest the kpa alone is a dream ... So glad that it was built!
