POD 2.0 and Shortboard to Controll the KPA

Hm, it's a long time ago that I had these but if I remember correctly the floorboard was connected with some kind of RJ45 plug and did not use Midi connections and protocol. So no, I assume this can't work.

If you connect the floorboard into the POD 2.0, you could - conceivably - due some rig changes, but I doubt that you'd have any control over the stomps.

So, on the floor board, the bank up, bank down, channel A, B, C, D and expression volume pedal works.
The channel select/effect on off, the tap tempo/tuner and the wha don't work.

For the expression volume, when it's off the volume is not totally off, it still some guitar sounds but totally clear. when you push the pedal, the rest of the sound and the gain appears.

For the channel selection, with the pod 2.0, you have 9 bank with 4 channels each.
You have 38 channels, from 2 to 37 with bank and channel select, The channel 1 when pressing "manual" on the pod and the 38 when pressing "tuner" on the pod.
On this photo, you can see a little rectangle with the number 2, it's the my default Bank 1, channel A.

Does anyone know how i can replace those default profile with wich profile i want ??

On the pod, when you push or turn the other button you have the message : "Module is empty ! Please select a type or preset."
I think "output level, drive, bass, middle, save and tap hold" can't be assign.
I assign "treble, chan vol and reverb" with the on/off of effects but i don't know how, if someone can explain how to do and how to erase what i did.
The "effect tweak" is the course of wah, same here, if someone have an idea to put this course works with the floor board wha pedal, it would be cool.

Probably you cant because CC in pod 2.0 are fixed, if i'm not wrong.
You'd rather drop some bucks on a used XT, which should be capable of send different CC instead of the fixed ones.

I guess You also need the newer Shortboards, those with USB ports.

They are programable so, in theory You should be able to set them up to match whatever features that the KPA has...

For those how use foot controller (any) how you judge the time for changing rigs ?

For the moment i find it too slow and audible, changing while playing is not really possible to be accurate, don't you think ?

Hi, I really like to do something with my wah from my floar board.

So, for the moment my wah do nothing to my kemper and the wah/whammy effect is in my "effect tweak" button.

I looked in the pod 2.0 manual http://line6.com/data/6/0a060b…uide%20-%20English%20.pdf and saw this:

Effect Tweak: Transmitted MIDI Range: 0-127 Control # :1 Received MIDI Range: 0-127

Wah Wah Pedal On/Off Transmitted MIDI Range:

Control # :43 Received MIDI Range: Rcv: 0-63=OFF, 64-127=ON

Is it possible to configurate the midi of the kemper ? maybe to replace what it recieve from effect tweak ?

I believe that the CC # of the wah in the KPA is set and cannot be changed.
