wow, is that a rosewood veneer, or is the body really one giant piece of rosewood?
I heard of these rosewood teles, but don't know anything about them, really

It's basically solid rosewood, two pieces front and back with a thin maple veneer sandwiched between. As Diaut said it's very heavy. Fender made a couple in '69 and gave the best one to GH and he used it on Let It Be,
