"Aux In Link" in Master section, to decouple Aux monitoring from Volume/Master Volume

Basically, there needs to be an "Aux In Link" checkbox on page 5 of the Master section (much like the "Direct Link" and "Monitor Link" which work so well for their respective signals) to decouple the monitoring of the Aux In from the Volume and Master Volume controls. As it stands, it is impossible to monitor other auxiliary audio inputs when the Kemper amp profile is turned down, which is essential in some routing configurations, e.g. where the KPA feeds audio to a DAW and its aux returns are being used as sends to studio monitors, ie:

Guitar -> KPA -> KPA Send/Direct Out -> Audio Interface/PC/DAW -> KPA Return/Aux In -> Monitors

There are times given this routing where you need to monitor only the Aux In, while feeding guitar signal to the KPA Direct Out (e.g. to drive a VST with dry guitar). But if you turn down the Volume or Master Volume, the send is defeated. This is where the ability to uncheck an "Aux In Link" - to keep absolute Aux Level up and turn Volume down - would be very useful.

I hope this makes sense and I'd be happy to answer questions otherwise. I'd love to see this option in the next firmware. As it stands I have to change my routing to Guitar->KPA->PC/DAW->Monitors, which is less flexible and compromises the tone of the KPA considerably.

Considering this further, I'd personally prefer that the Aux In feed be decoupled from Volume, but linked to Master for most applications, but this should really be configurable. In the same way that the volume pedal can be positioned pre- or post- various blocks, it would be helpful to be able to position the Aux In insert point pre-Volume, post-Volume, or post-Master Volume. (Or, for extra credit, pre-X/ MOD/ REV/ DLY!)

That said, I'll settle for anything besides its being locked pre-Volume as it is now. I hope there isn't anything in the hardware architecture that precludes this change.

I think this can be turned off now, can't it? The "Space" setting on my Aux page is defaulted to 0, and honestly I don't even know what it is. Some kind of ambient reverb to help aux signals sit in the mix?

I'll double check on the Space behavior ASAP, Sollazzon. In the meantime... I'd love to hear from Kemper about the possibility of an "Aux In Link" checkbox, or maybe even better, a flexible Aux In position setting?

Please make the Aux routing more configurable!

The more I think about this, the more I think the easiest solution for me is to have the Aux In routed post-Volume, pre-Master Volume, so that the Master can still be used to control overall levels including external gear, but guitar volume can be defeated in case you only want to hear external gear, particularly in cases where the external gear is being fed guitar signal from the KPA send.

Of course, other users may have different needs (e.g. post-Master) so the more options the better. As long as what I describe above is one of them.

This is critical in order to be able to crossfade between the KPA (as master, with as little other gear coloring the signal path as possible) and outboard gear driven by the Aux out guitar signal, e.g. laptops running plugins, Audio-to-MIDI converters running VST instruments, etc. Simple change with a big payoff, unless the KPA hardware architecture absolutely precludes it.

At home, it's a matter of convenience and tidy wiring. But ultimately, this will determine whether I can make the KPA part of a practical live rig. The KPA sounds great and it's a nice "trophy amp" at home, but if I can't perform with it, it may wind up on the selling block eventually.
