Any other rigs like the Keith Merrow Rig Pack?

A quick one here...

I got the Keith Merrow rig pack when it was released, and...well....IMHO its unbelievably good! It has the perfect kind of tones that I want / use with my music. A little tweak here, and little change there, and the rigs are perfect and sound immense!!

So as to give me more options and flavour, are there any other rig packs or rigs available either on the rig exchange or elsewhere that can match the awesomeness of the Merrow tones?

Any one have any recommendations?

Yup fluff's sounds great too, also son Björn Mesa profiles and another singles at rig exchange, if I have time I can put a Dropbox link o give you the profile names, Mesa, 5150, pitbull, vht etc.

In the meantime I'll check out the fluff stuff. Not really a "djent" sort of player, more an Alter Bridge type of style (I try anyways!) but sure a good tone is a good tone!

I really like the Amp Factorys metal producer pack,especially some of the cabinets.i much prefered it to the Keith Merrow stuff.and also Lasse"s profiles are excellent.

Yeah I hear its good, but IMHO the Amp Factory charge WAY too much for their profiles. £40 is a lot for me, especially for 7 profiles. If it comes on a special offer sometime at all I may be tempted, but I cant afford to spend £40 (about 50 euros) on a profiles pack, especially considering that I cannot demo the profiles first.

I have no doubt that they are well profiled and sound great... just that without demoing Ive no way to know if they will be right for my style / sound.

There are roughly 87 profiles in the metal producer pack man, not 7... 7 amps with about 12 different profiles each... But again, not worth the coin to me, the quality is nowhere close on those IMHO.

try lasse lammerts on the rig exchange,there is a randall and 2 marshalls,and the cabs he uses worked well for me,especially his mesa stiletto. also search for thumas who has loads of good amps,which you can stick through your favourite cab. remember its the cabs which are really gonna have the biggest influence on your sound. once you find some cabs you like guard them with your life! and just try out different amps with them.
there are plenty of great profiles to be found on the free exchange and many are just as good,if not better than the ones you can buy.

I think the KM is really good, but ofc with some tweaks. i like to change the cabs sometimes, i dont want to sound like KM

Along with the KM pack, I really dig the rig packs from Fluff and Ola Englund.
