Yes! Here's a demo by the guy who inspired me to become a guitarist.

Hey, we got re same 'formative' persons then.
Summers was, and still is, one of my all- time guitar heroes.

The Kemper has much more versatile filters than the GR-300 did. And, you can use the distortion stomps as oscillators (try the Fuzzface, and use subtractive filters to modify it into other sounds).
BUT: I would really like to have a stomp in the Kemper that could provide a "waveform" or ,two, that could be used as a starting point with all these Shapers, EQs, Pitch, Formant, etc. effects.
Try some of these for polyphonic synth-like sounds - they are touch sensitive, so try them with the guitar volume in different positions, and with different pickup settings:

Thanks, i never paid attention to this one.
One should always pay attention to Ruppert, his ears work betterer than us mere humans!

THIS IS VERY TRUE

This is so cool! I tried out the formant shift today and its almost like have a guitarsynth build in. Thanks Kemper

I tried it but it does not work well.
I don't know how bill captured the GR300.
Here is a user guide for CK. lol
I'm pretty sure CK knows how synthesizer sounds are made - LOL

Yes! indeed, this is the next step, and we have a real guitar synthesizer as well.
