In those years he was using Vox AC30s and in 1970 he started with the JMP100 (jumped). Later in 1973 he added the Superlead.
Gower JTM and Superlead profiles from Mattfig get very close
Thanks! Do you have link to Mattfig’s profiles?

Any advice how to get a similar tone/amp character like the sound Blackmore had in mark 2, 70-73? Thankful for input regarding this
You can! Download Rig Manager if you haven't already, and connect your Kemper via USB. On the left hand sidebar, 'All Rigs' -> 'Rig Packs' -> 'Kemper Bass Profiles'. You'll find all the profiles that came on the Kemper originally, plus some other ones too by the looks of it.
Thanks a lot!!
But you can't download/store more than one profile at the time?
On the Kemper itself in Browser mode - hit the soft button that says 'All Rigs', and then you can turn the 'Type' knob to select 'Bass Only'. That will filter the rigs to only bass ones. There's a couple of dozen bass rigs that come loaded onto the Kemper.
Thanks a lot! For mer it is empty. Perhaps the former owner deleted all bass rig/amps. Can I reload/get these stock Kemper Bass rigs/amps somehow?
yes and yes
Nice! How do you get some of the Kemper Stock profiles for bass amp/rigs? Or is there any especial good ones found within Rig Manager?
Is it possible to use the Kemper with an electric bass guitar? And if so, are there any stock rigs I can use/download? Or is there only private made rigs/profiles I can find through the Rig Manager? In that case, what bass amps/rigs would you say is very good profiled?
Thanks a lot!

Thanks everyone!
When it comes to the noise gate, where in the ”chain” should I put it? Can I also add to noise gates in different positions to get even better noise gate-effect (I have problems sometime with feedback although using noise gate in the Kemper).
Perhaps noise gate in the pre-amp section (if possible) and afterwards in the effect chain?
Thanks in advance!

Hi!
I have edited a preset on my Kemper profiler Amp, and on this preset I get the Output LED to go to yellow or a mix of green and yellow color at the same time. Is it still okay in terms of "not clipping" and in terms of getting good sound quality monitor speakers and/or into an external sound card?
Thanks in advance!
/Rickard
Thank you! I will look into those hints!
But I must ask, the Stereo Widening effect - you mean it is crucial that is put in the X module
place? That makes it right in order in the chain between reverb and delay then you mean?

Hi!
I am a beginner when it comes to the Kemper Amp. I was wondering how I will get the best sound (if having a good profile adjusted already) while recording in my DAW? I am using a Scarlett focusrite 2i4 external sound card. I suppose I should plug into the two inputs on the front of the sound card, and using the left and right main outputs in the back of the Kemper? Is there any other settings I need to control/adjust in the Kemper's menu to the get best and most genuine profile sound in the recording in the DAW?
Thanks a lot in advance!
/Rickard
Thank you!
So from the two main outputs I will use two TS cables into to two input jacks on the soundcard and I will receive the best result? Is it even better to use XLR-cables instead?
Hello!
I am wondering how I best can connect my Kemper Amp to an external soundcard? I know that the ”Main outputs” is best/gives best sound, but would be best if connect directly to soundcard and via that the studio monitors will be connected through the soundcard.
Will it work with a split cable, that is a two-piece cable in then of the Kemper to a single-piece end into the soundcard and still get the right signal (left and right main output working)?
Thanks!
Thanks for the advice
I just wanted to share my song that was released yesterday on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube Music and more It was recorded on my Fender Cyber Deluxe amp with a SM57 microphone and with some vst-amp-plugin, before I purchased my Kemper Feel free to comment, it would be fun to hear your thoughts

Display MoreI suggest you connect the Monitor Output of the Profiler to the Fender Effects Loop Return Jack.
In the Profiler Output Menu, set the Output Source "Master Mono".
Set the Effects Loop Level Switch on the back of the Fender to "Line".
Depending on how full range the Fender Power Amp and speaker are, there is another Profiler Output Menu option to get the best sound. There is a "Monitor Cabinet OFF" checkbox. Listen with the box unchecked, and with it checked. You are likely to prefer one or the other.
Thank you so much!
And what type of Output Source should I choose if I play through KRK studio monitors?
Hello,
The best way you can go is:
- connect Kemper's Monitor Out with combo's FX Return
- in the output section (on the first page) select "Monitor Cab Off"
That way you will not send speaker simulation through combo speaker, but still will be able to use speaker simulation while sending signal to Main Outs or S/PDIF.
Thanks! Should "Monitor Cab off" not be selected if I play through KRK studio monitors?
When it comes to the type of output sources that could be choosen, for example "home recording studio" and so on, which one should I choose when playing through a combo amp?
Hello!
How is the best way to ”set up” if I want to play my Kemper through a combo guitar amplifier that I have? I have a Fender Cyber Deluxe.
Should I turn off any emulation? What and where do I do that?
And, which output jack should I use then if I am going to plug it in to the ”FX return” input in the amp?
Thanks in advance!
