Due to a combined effort of the Kemper company and
Behringer the footswitch 1010B will soon be able to handle of all the
programing and handling two ways. This worked smoothly as a baby’s skin and
will be THE combination we are going to see soon on the stages of this planet
anywhere.I don't have much to add here...
Except for a small clarification: Behringer is not involved in the development of the new KPA- specific eprom for the FCB 1010 but Xavier, the guy behind the UnO chip (http://www.ossandust.be). -

According to CK's Statement at the Messe (I hope I understood him correctly, if not please correct me) he was actually quite surprised (when comparing other units while implementing the KPA's own harmonizer) by the low quality of the PF.
The PF seems to be optimised for low latency and therefore sacrificing sound quality especially in the chord department (single notes are acceptable). -
The Behringer FCB 1010 is the best recommendation ATM IMO.
In short time there'll be a KPA specific eprom available which allows for learn mode and bidirectional communication. -

Benvenuto!

Yeah, but consider this: This is 7ender, and they must be doing it all the time (CE appliance). I don't quite get it.

I would set distortion sense back to zero.
If the perceived loudness is too high for distorted profiles ( i.e. when you switch on a distortion stomp) try increasing clean sense instead. -
Isn't he the guy who created the Gordius MIDI floorboards?
Yes, he's the guy behind Gordius and the UnO chip.

Thank you! This is awesome and really helpful!

To boot from USB you need to put the kaos.bin into the root folder of the stick.
Then press and hold both < > switches and turn the chickenhead to tuner. -
I agree.
I have just recently bought a pair of HS 80’s, too.
They sound awesome (unlike the predecessor, the NS10) but have again set a de- facto standard in many studios. -
@ Ingolf: Just use a short cable, maybe with a small base to show off!Hey, Gianfranco, it's not me!
I don't believe in fake tubes any more... -
Very cool, indeed.
Just bought a Presonus Studio Live 16.4.2 for my band.
Good to know tracking (with capture, I assume) and transferring to another DAW works so well.

Last word was end of May here in Germany.
You can probably add some for the US ... or maybe it's a cross-atlantic deal? No powered KPA in the US until we have the Fender Runaway Feedback Pedal here in Germany.OT: I asked specifically for the Runaway at the Fender booth.
They told me it got stuck in CE procedures and nobody could give me any timeframe as when to expect the Runaway on the European market. -
Ingolf, Was there any timeframe given for when the eprom will be released?
The prototype was ready at the Messe.
No exact timestamp was given but the estimation was a few weeks, not more. -
Actually..that means that I could also integrate my Line 6 Variax Guitar in some interesting ways. I know that I can use it on it's own but one of the useful things it does is to assign a particular Guitar model to a specific patch. Makes switching things up a littl eeasier.
Hey Jeff! Yes the HD 500 can be a mighty switch control for the KPA as well as for the Variax. -
Welcome, Josh!

I'm sure I saw a thread about that a few months ago in this forum, there was a beta tester here, I'm not sure if they gave up on this project thought...
I think it was Bruno.
There hasn't been talk about this in a while. But you could PM him or the guys at Matrix.
