To be clear:
I cannot load an effect preset into a locked module in Rig Manager via double click, but drag and drop works.
I can also copy/paste a Performance Slot into a disabled Slot, but the destination Slot stays disabled. To see the content pasted you need to enable it.
I have just tested it on my Power Head and it is a bug. I tried on 3.2.18 and not effect would load in a locked slot. Then I up dated to 3.2.20 and it was still the same.
Has someone logged a proper bug report yet?
This is a known issues, which has wider implications and is not planned to be solved immediately.
There is also the option to delete the bass Rigs from the browse pool, if you don't play bass.
Check the parameter "DLY+REV Routing" in System Settings. It determines the signal flow amongst the modules DLY and REV.
How have you updated to OS 8.1?
OS 8.1 and Rig Manager 3,2 are public betas. Rig Manager only suggests these versions if "beta" is ticked in Rig Manager preferecnes.

Rig Manager 3.2 requires macOS 10.13 at least!
The master volume overlay is not triggered by a volume pedal, but by the MASTER VOLUME pot. Turn that pot by 90 degrees and see what happens. Open a support ticket. This might be hardware related.
Lock the effects and - if you want - even the cabinet. Then load another Rig.
already did that,and that is why i said i installed firmware os beta but i didnt get the RM beta install window
Is your Mac Pro running macOS 10.13 or higher?
That is not a great msg. A msg like this would make more sense “The Profiler’s software has been corrupted.....”
The sofwtare is not currupted. It's data, a Rig or Performance, which is not completely intact. Origin of this issue could be in the past. And the current OS is noticing it.
Try that reset holding the RIG button while powering on. Works for all models. Hold the RIG button until message appears "Initializing....".
If that doesn't help, open a support ticket, please.
There is no download yet. Rig Manager should update itself, if "beta" is selected in its preferences and you have an internet connection.

OS 8.1 and Rig Manager 3.2 are public betas. If you would like to install these anyhow, make sure, you tick the box "Include Beta ....." in Rig Manager preferences.
You need OS 8.0.6 release. For Kemper Fuzz you even need OS 8.1.0 public beta.
The last page in System Setting shows the OS version installed.

I took the attached Addenedum 8.1 away and am now referring to the download page.
I cannot reproduce such issues and have also asked two colleagues, who have no issues either to download that PDF. I even tried without being logged in and it worked.
I just tried to be proactive. The Addendum 8.1 is always included in the OS update package and can be downloaded from our download page.
