I cannot reproduce such issues and have also asked two colleagues, who have no issues either to download that PDF. I even tried without being logged in and it worked.

I just tried to be proactive. The Addendum 8.1 is always included in the OS update package and can be downloaded from our download page.

PROFILER Operating System 8.1 and Rig Manager 3.2 are now available as public betas!

Please refer to the Addendum 8.1 manual available on our download page for a detailed description of major features introduced in this OS.

    Audio

added: new effect type Kemper Fuzz

added: new parameters Steep Low and Steep High in Studio EQ allowing to switch filter from 1st to 2nd order

changed: gain controls of Studio Equalizer and Metal EQ expanded to +-18dB

    changed: progression of Ducking parameter

changed: renaming Recti Shaper into Octa Shaper

obsoleted: effect type Fuzz DS (existing Rigs and user presets based on Fuzz DS are automatically migrated to Kemper Fuzz without sound changes during the upgrade process)

Rig Update: Rigs and presets stored under this OS are not downward compatible with older OS versions!

    User Interface

added View: Just Acoustic listing Rigs with Instrument Tag=Acoustic

changed: minimum of three Aux In mix controls in Output Section now displayed as Off

fixed: accidental greying out of SEND 1 Source, SEND 1 Volume and SEND 1 Link at Stage

    Permanent Factory Effect Presets

added: 20 Kemper Fuzz permanent factory presets

added: 4 Octa Shaper permanent factory presets (former Recti Shaper)

added: 9 additional Kemper Drive permanent factory presets

changed: numbering and order of Klon permanent factory presets inverted

changed: settings in wah permanent factory preset Cry slightly revised

changed: user scale permanent factory presets replaced

changed: Factory effect presets hosted in the PROFILER are now permanent, appear in dramaturgical order and get automatically maintained by the OS – like the way effect types are embedded in the PROFILER OS since day 1. From now onward users can rely on having a complete set of factory effect presets onboard of their PROFILER matching the OS version installed under all circumstances. This change is limited to factory effect presets and doesn’t affect any presets stored by users themselves! It does also not affect any Rigs nor Performances.

The PROFILER resets pedal volume to maximum during a startup cycle. Otherwise it could happen, that the PROFILER starts, there is no sound, and you have currently no pedal attached to crank it up.

Why can't you switch on into Tuner Mode with Mute Signal being activated?

You select Monitor Stereo, this pairs the DIRECT OUT with the MONITOR OUT. Both now act as a pair of MONITOR OUTPUTS. In this condition you have the choice to set the source of the MONITOR OUTPUT to "Master Stereo". Now you could connect your passive KEMPER Kabinet to the SPEAKER OUTPUT of your PowerHead (same for PowerRack!) and connect a KEMPER Power Kabinet to the DIRECT OUT.

If you want to be in line with the Panorama control, place the unpowered Kabinet to the left and the Power Kabinet to the right.

My advice is to narrow in:

Is the issue reflected by the output LED?

Does it affect all outputs including HEADPHONES?

Or is it an input issue - what about the INPUT LED?

What about another input using ALTERNATIVE IN instead of Front INPUT or vice verse (n.a. with Stage)?

Any pedal attached? Perhaps while you configured your Morph Pedal you accidentally selected Volume Pedal for a moment and cranked down that pedal controller. Current state of all pedal controllers can be checked on page Pedal Links in System Settings (Stage: Pedal Settings). You can manually raise the volume pedal controller to maximum on that page. A PROFILER restart would do the same.

I don't understand the real purpose.

Monitor Cab. Off applies to the MONITOR OUTPUT. Why can't you use that one?

And if you activate Monitor Stereo, the DIRECT OUT transforms into one side of a stereo MONITOR OUTPUT and Monitor Cab. Off applies to both. What is hindering you to activate Monitor Stereo and chose the appropriate Output Source e. g. Master Mono, which is then applied to both outputs?

If you search the Main Manual for "undo", you find this:

    EDIT Button (15)

A short click on a module button will activate or deactivate the module.

The EDIT button opens the most recently edited module and brings its parameters into focus on the display. From then onwards, a short click on any other module button will immediately open its respective menu. Once a menu is open, subsequent clicks on the same module button will deactivate/reactivate the module. Press to return to the home screen.

An alternative way to enter a module is to hold its button for a second, without having pressed EDIT first. In this case, a long press of a module button will change the focus of the display, whereas a quick press will deactivate/activate the respective module.

Holding the EDIT button opens an Undo/Redo screen on which you can undo the most recent edits, or all edits made since the current Rig was loaded.

There have never been favorites folders - not in the PROFILER and not in Rig Manager. Favorites are just Rigs marked as such.

If you select the View "Favorites" in the PROFILER you just get those Rigs which you marked as your favorites.

Be aware, that you cannot mark Rigs in the public Rig Exchange as your favorites. That works only with Rigs you store locally, either on your PROFILER or in the local library of your Rig Manager.

If the column Favorites is missing in the Rig Manager list you can click on the headline and select it from the list of tags.

Be aware: Favorites are linked to a specific owner name. If you change the owner name in the PROFILER and/or Rig Manager your former favorites don't appear as such anymore. In that case enter System Settings /Edit Owner and set owner name to the original. The same applies to Rig Manager preferences.
