It's become more realistic. Amps behabe differend on different cabs. I have a marshall cab which sounds horrorfying on some, but might tame hights other amps.

That is very generous of you! But I think that won't find the words to describe it. I'll be patient and wait for release 3.0. First thing would be using the Deadlight Studio Hesu-Cab from the new Kemper Factory Rigs! You are really missing out on something waiting for Release 3.0
-
Would you make more DI-Profiles when 3.0 is out? I'm not "really" into the way you mic the cabinet (no offense please, it's just not up to my taste), so I can swap out the cabinet with other cabs in the future?
No hurt feelings please
-
Maybe you could Wait For 3.0? I heard that you 'might' be vexed with yourself for not being patient.
-
How many FW 2.8 DI Profiles are in the Packs?
-
That will have a hughe impact due to The fact that everybody can now provide his amps, even when he/she's not experienced in micing. Make 20 profiles of various settings, take The go-to Cab and rock out. Good times ahead. I imagine a Uberschall with Deadlightstudios Cabs... Wrawrr!!

Commercial does not mean better. Of course most commercial vendors have access to nice rooms, mics, pres and more importantly simply have more experience than most non commercial profilers. BUT. Sometimes luck beats experience or (or fresh ears beat "wrong" experience). There are some very very nice free profiles out there for every taste. And as SinMix states, some commercial vendors even have some freebies that give you a little taste.
Good free ones are from Deadlight Studio, Kosten, Lasse Lammert, r.u.sirius... just to name a few. And only because someone does "studio work" for a quarter century it does turn a shitty profile into a glorious one. You can do garbage a very very long time without anybody noticing. -
Will you PLEASE make a few lower-gain Profiles with result in Kemper-Gain around 3 to 5?
Boosted and Un-Boosted?
Not everyone is into Death-Metal and maybe someone needs agressive tones for rock-tunes with less gain. -
In the meantime: Check out the SinMix VHT Pitbull Rigs. They are Awesome

Bought the pack right after release!
Great usable Tones!More love for VHT/Fryette!

I once made a Profile of an Ashdown Evo III with a HiWatt Cabinet. Never dared to share the Sound because I was too shy. And because I was not satisfied with the outcome.
Here is a Sample. I'm not a Bass-Player...

I'm gonna Share it. Maybe someone can find it useful

Will he be able to receive OS updates?

A good Metal-Guitar Tone is 90% good Drums and Bass.
I heard so many tones that were huge on their own, but the drums and bass sucked and everything turned weak, cloudy and muffled.
On th other hand there are a lot of tones out there you would 100%ly skip on your KPA because they subjectively sound like garbage.
But in a great mix they evolve to massive face-wrecker. -
Okay. Learn something every Day
Because I don't think that your profiles lack Mids.So it basically shapes the guitarsound first before hitting the Preamp then?
-
Bass and Mid Zero? My Triamp would sound like complete garbage with those settings.
-
Making those available would help me with my own Profiles to see quickly whether they fit in the Mix.
-
Sounds great. As "Produced" as expected.
-
I accidently named my own profiles' cabinet after the ones I was using last before I profiled something.
Could it be by accident?
-
Werden auf der Profiler Tour in Deutschland auch Profiles gemacht?
-
These Sound Awesome!!!
Do a nice clean and pushed one as well and I'll use those for clean and crunch!
