"99% Like the miced Amp" means nothing.

Directs as well :O

Good that you do merged ones.

Kemper directly to FOH, Sonic Undergroud Ampeg Profiles with my Yamaha RBX 5.
Soundguys were always inpressed. And we know that Soundguys are never impressed if its not themselves.

Tim, I'm sorry I mixed You Up with Liam!
Sorry For The Confusion!

Tim, I read that you bought some Tonehammer Profiles. You should try my settings with the Fredman-Miced Marshall from Tonehammer. I basically requested the profiles from you to play with this. The less on mids (not should get you some nice rythm Tones!

Please don't give him inspiration

Tim, Thank You very much for this. This is beyond awesome.
As For the TS, I mean a Real TS. I'm convinced that a boost will bring some great sounds. But don't bother. If YOU don't have one, it's fine.
FYI: the Joyo TS Clone Is awesome for the Money -
For Studio it is completely irrelevant if it's from an Amp, Kemper, VST or whatsoever. If it sounds good, it sounds good. (Gregor knows my opinion on that )
But what I FELT is a difference between IR/VST, IR/Axe FX and Kemper. And that Difference was not that prominent with Kemper vs. Amp. Sometimes even the Kemper moved more air.

What I can say is that i think that Mids of 8 is too much. It's a "Marshally" Amps where the Mids are more prominent than on any other amp. I found that the Wingee-Tones were better for Rythm Guitar whereas the Tims are too much blistering for my eardrum. Mid on 4,5 (like Hallan suggested) could be a little too low for mid-junkies like me. But... it all depends on the Cab

How about some Directs?

Hey Tim. I really really appreciate what you are doing here! Thank you very much. I use your amps with Tonehammer/Deadlight Studio Cabs.
Some suggestions:
- How about some Cleans or slightly broken up Tones? (Directs)
- AND: How about some Tube-Screamer Boost (Directs)
- Plus:HB and HBE Gain = from 1 to 7 like in Phase 21
Bass = 5,5
Mid = 6,5
Treb = 6
Pres = 5
Voice Switch = Right
FAT = Off
C45 = Off
SAT = On
Master Vol = 4I can imagine that my settings with Gain 4 and 7 (BE & HBE) would benefit from those TS-Settings:
Gain: 8 o'clock (so almost nothing here, just for a little little saturation)
Tone: 12 o'clock (Neural Settings)
Volume: Full (Giving the Amp some boost!)Just as suggestions

I can actually see the point of having 20 Cleans in a Metal Pack.
-
Thank you very much!

When Studio, always DAW. More surgical and therefore more precise.
I actually don't like that you can't set the band in Studio-EQ more narrow. Even on 5 it's still too wide for me and affecting frequencies I would not want to touch.

Kemper made wanting to keep my Hughes & Kettner Triamp MKI and made me buying a new Cabinet for that.
It's easy. I never felt the urge to play with a tube amp when I played a POD or the Axe FX. Playing with the Kemper reminds me how awesome a tube amp really is. Other units fail to do that.
It's not that the Kemper made me long for tubes because it sucks, but because it reminds you how great the raw (unmiced) tube sound really is. -
Yeah me too. Far from being a blues guitarist, I'm stoked to get my hands in those profiles!!!

Do yourself a favour and try the Deadlight Studio Profiles.
You'll instantly gain 30% faster Downstroke Picking-Technique because your body can't stop doing oldschool Thrash with it

Because you are getting old and lose your hearing?
