No, Direct at the amp is the clean and unprocessed signal bypassing the amp. It is not the same as we want a clean and OD-coloured signal both hitting the amp section.

Great Idea.
The "Mix" Parameter of Stomps is what I still Love about my Axe FX.
If you like what a Green Scream is doing, but it's sometimes too tight and too honky, a Mix Paramter could be a solution.

Dude, you missed the Origin Audio Uberschall Pack!

You have to be freaking kidding us!? YOU were the person responsible for most of those rules. You had the longest title, with Caps and brackets, 3 threads, and were bumping every one of it on a regular and even arbitrary basis. And now you dare to post the rules into other peoples' threads. I can not believe the amount of hypocrisy here.
EDIT: I am really sorry for off-topping here piertrocop. But I could not believe it. I hope you understand.

That is a very great idea!!
One Band is enough to satisfy the needs of every palm muting metal guitarist. Sneap-Settings and we are all good to go!

These profiles are pretty rad!
The Bogner-Tightness (loose but tight) is captured very nicely!
They are extremely dynamic. With the volume-knob and hand-attack one can get from (almost) clean to massive gain, which is unforgiving but rewarding, once you re-learned your passages

Listened to the Driftwood Samples. They sound great, very "roomy". You should let someone demo those with a Metal-Mix.

Wasn't Ilok 2 considered pretty safe? Has there been a crack for those yet?
Furthermore: Of course it depends on the host. I don't know for sure, but a newer Intel i7 should be able to handle a few tracks with almost no latency. In addition to that I'm talking about the beauty of being able to tweaking the sound at all times. Meaning that the hypothetical VST would process a recorded direct signal, like every other guitar-software does. I love the fact that you can always re-adjust the gain, treble and so on at those plugins. Kemper-Sound with that kinda flexibility (it is possible... it's possible at other companies!) and hardware based copy protection for existing users.
-
What? That means that no one was ever able to use Guitar Rig or Amplitube for recording!
Ever? Everybody was fighting with latency of a VST? I do not think so.I even know people who use Guitar Rig (god may forgive them) live without a single complain of latency.
Bias for iPad is a valid option as well. And an iPad contains no DSP-Chip. -
An Idea would be to make a Kemper VST/AU in Amplitube or Guitar Rig Style with the Kemper itself connected as piracy protection. It would not even have to render all the Audio, just like an Ilok or another USB device (doesn't Pro Tools work that way either?)
We'd have the benefit of being completely flexible and by the same time being sure that no one else could do it without the actual hardware. It would just be very awesome for existing customers.

Kemper makes You want To play more amps. In a good Way
-
The Mark V is on its own very midrangy. You might want to ask your guitarist to back the mids a little off.
Complement each other, don't fight.
Herbert and Hagen would do fine.

Yeah, your cellphone Is from 2000late!
I know this for a fact -
ToneHammer and SinMix, depending what you want. They both have unique Sounds.
-
Yeah, some Breakup Tones would be Nice. From Gain 1,4 to 4 on the Kemper. Maybe a Blend with a Ribbon Mic?
-
Don't hit merge when Amp and Cab are already seperated! Merging has been done before, seperating Head and Cab. Merging again would do that exact process again.

Love this amps. Covers everything (!) from complete American Clean, British Clean, Slight Breakup, Breakup, Pushed, Crunch and some Rock n Roll.
For me it's the definative package from Gain 0 to Gain of 5.5. It reacts so dynamically on your picking and volume poti.

At first it sounded Like The Synch Source changed, but Soon it went to some nasty distortion. I used a Headphone, so no SPIDF.
