Can anyone comment if this feels like playing through a guitar speaker cab with moving air etc...?

The thing that gets me is not so much the tweaking, it's the "let me check out this different profile". I find I waste far too much time scrolling on to different profiles to hear the sound difference than playing... doh

I have this strat with custom 50's PU's. I have an EBMM JP13 with Dimarzio Illuminators and the guitar I have the best luck with is a pre-refined Parker FLY with the low power Dimarzio Tone Zones. Maybe I'm doing something wrong if no other users are running into issues? Thanks for taking the time to answer

Hey Jimi, any chance of some darker profiles? Out of my three main guitars, only one seems work with the profiles without any tweaks. The profiles are a bit trebly with my other two guitars. I'm even using the darker 78 Marshall profile.
Cheers!

Nice! How about a video walk through

I've owned both for a couple of years now. While I think the 11r is great for the money, the Kemper hands down sounds "better" to me. I'll also add the noise gate in the Kemper is 10000x better than the 11's.
But for the money, if you are happy with the 11r, why spend all the $ to upgrade?

I'm using custom shop fat 50's which sound amazing to my ear. I've also used the Texas Specials through the Kemper too and those sounds excellent as well.

Someone posted one on FB last week (kemper group). I tried it and it had some issues - I just deleted it. Hopefully we see some good profiles soon

This is the exact same setup I have. Please let me know what you discovered when you figure it out? Also, if you don't mind me asking, what are you using to get the spdif into the babyface, a converter box?
Thanks!

I picked up a JP13-7. I love the guitar, but am not digging the Illuminator bridge pickup. Even after a lot of tweaking I find it too nasally for my taste. I'm sure at some point I'll have to replace it.

I have access to 4 Mac's... all running 10.6.8

Agreed, it's one of my go to profiles.

Thank you so much! I had sold my jmp1 with the matching tube amp and 1960b cab awhile back. Thanks to you and the Kemper I now have it back. Cheers!

That big sky sounds amazing in you tube vids. I'd love to get my hands on that, but the price is a bit steep.

A lot of my high gain profiles use the green scream in front. Lately I was messing with a strat and turned off the stomp.... wow, didn't realize what I was missing tone wise. Not saying there isn't a place for the stomp, but it can sure flavor different amps. Was nice to hear different amps in their bare state.

Hola! Fellow Detroiter here too. Although I just moved to Texas and was lucky enough to miss this past winter.
The Kemper replaced a marshall tube half stack for me. The sound on the Kemper is amazing, you just have to find the right profile that works with your setup.
It's seriously that good...
Welcome!

Thanks a lot! Can't wait to try them out.
