Btw. the same behavior was already described by snakepit666 here http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…ad&threadID=3187&pageNo=2 a while ago

Hi Davide,
I am very well aware of this. Nevertheless the cc #26 and #27 react differently.
If the Delay stomp is deactivated on the FCB when switching to a rig and so is the delay on the KPA I have to send three times cc #27 to switch the delay on on the KPA. I however only have to send cc #26 once to switch delay on. Sounds like a bug to me!?Cheers,

Hi,
Let me guess: You are using CC #27 to switch the delay and keep the trails. I had the exact same behavior with that one. With CC #26 which also switches the delay but mutes the trails it works fine for me.
This seems to be a bug on the KPA which obviously hasn't been addressed yet.Regards,

Quick question: Did you also profile the amp clean without any stomp in front of it?
-
These are truly fantastic!!! Thanks so much for sharing!

It's still there but other than in the title of this thread it's spelled "pittbull" there (with two 't'). Maybe that's the reason you didn't find it?

To be honest, I'm fine with this information given. And I think it's normal in the software business not to lay all cards on the table. Not that I wouldn't be happy to have more features available, but anyway, what we have is pretty stable now. And I prefer playing guitar to playing with software.
+1!!

I don't want to use the time to listen through 900 profiles. I prefer using this time for playing.
Hm, but you expect that the others do all the work and do the rating so you have more time for playing? (sorry you probably didn't mean it like this, but this would be the logical consequence)
I am not sure if this will really work!?Anyway, I also think it would be a nice idea to be able to provide a rating or at leat a 'like'.
However I think it would be even more important to add more 'tools' to qualify the profiles further so that we'll be able to judge in advance if it's woth the download.
There should be fields e.g. for genre it's suitable for (metal, blues,...), brand and type of amp, guitar that it's been fine tuned for (SC, HB, ...), etc. And all this not just as free text but as real fields so it can be filtered later.
And IMHO most important of all, introduce the possibility that the uploader can leave a short recording with it, so that we can already audition it.And lastly it would be great to have a way to quicker test a profile on the KPA without having to reboot each time you put a new rig on it!

Works like a charm here!

When you use an audio interface for playing along with computer/backingtracks - do you need an input for the computer aux, or does the computer play back through the USB/Firewire input?
In other terms: Can I plug my Kemper into an small audio interface, taking up all input channels - then hook the audio interface up to a set of monitors and connect it to my computer via. USB, and then hear both the kemper and the computer through the monitors?I hope you understand me correctly..
Yes that works and that's exactly what I do here as well. The Kemper goes into my Scarlett Interface which is connected to my studio monitors and is set to direct monitoring. The Interface is connected via USB to the computer and over this channel the computer's signal (backing track in your case) goes out and into the monitors as well. This way you can play to your backing track.Cheers,

Are you sure?.....

When's the firmware version coming that will be able to profile that???
-
Thanks for the info. I just bought an FCB 1010 and an UNO chip. If that doesn't work well then perhaps I'll pickup one of these chips and try again.
FCB 1010 with UNO chip works like a charm for me. If you have any questions do not hesitate to let me know!!Cheers,

I have had lots and lots of modelers (and amps and other "real" equipment). I have to say that I have more fun with the KPA then I've had in years. It's crazy but it's true.
Same here! Haven't played that much guitar in years. That fact alone was worth the purchase!! -
Wow this is absolutely fantastic!!
Thanks for sharing and letting us benefit from the immense effort this must have been!!Cheers,
Markus -
Brilliant stuff. Well done!!
-
if not well Ill just back everything off a little for that bluesy jazzy tone...
That would be fantastic!! Thanks a lot! -
Thank you so much for sharing! Can't wait to try these out!!
-
Thanks Will!
Yes, have tried to play with Input sense and also tried with Strat and Les Paul. All with the same effect.
Nevertheless it's a fantastic clean profile. Thanks so much for sharing!!
Looking forward to hearing the lead channel!Cheers,

it say clean but works wonderfull with the gain turned up!
Hm, really? Not for me to be honest. While I really like this profile very much clean as it is, I seem to have some problems once I either turn up the gain or add a dist or boost (e.g. Green Scream) in front of it. Both introduces some nasty distortion (sounds a bit like digital clipping although all LEDs stay green).Cheers,
Markus
