Seems like we share the same taste when it comes to guitar sounds. So I am very much looking forward to your results!!!

Wow, very nice!!

Unfortunately the stomp box mode is still unusable for me. It is very confusing when a stomp LED stays "on" when you switch to another rig where the stomp effect is off by default.
Hm, I do not quite understand this issue to be honest. You can define for each patch on the FCB (with UNO) the initial state of each stomp box LED once you switch to this patch. Just make sure that this matches the setting of the assigned rig and you shouldn't have this issue at all!?

Hello guys! I got my KPA yesterday. This USB audio is something that I really miss. I use KPA and 11R only through headphones and it's totally Sh#t if you need to mix with cords to hear e.g. Youtube etc. For home guitarist like me, KPA is superb soundwise, but the other features should also fit better to home usage. Studio is totally different, since you are not spending "leisure time" and surfing in Youtube while playing. Hopefully USB-audio support will be included to KPA asap, otherwise I'll return this back to Thomann and buy A..-II
Hm, for the price difference to an A..-II you can buy a VERY decent audio interface which will give you everything you need. -
sorry, lost track of all the threads, theres so many, have added my comments now to what may have been the original one
the consensus anyway seems to be donations rather than sale, so happy to do that, just wanted these guys to get a fair shake
complicated things these forums
Agreed! And look at Andy's threads about his two profiling sessions and check out how many people said that they donated. I would guess and hope that this means he's got a fair share.
Plus I agree with all others that charging for profiles somehow would go against the basic principle of this open community and the idea of sharing.Cheers,

Already expressed my opinion in the other thread. Not sure why we we have to discuss the same in three different threads!!??

I think it´s perfect as it is now. Donating some bucks if you really like something is nice and easy. And i think that it worked out for And44 up to now. Maybe he could comment on this?
Mandatory payments just yould make things very unfortable again. There is no copy portection and you cannot try before buy.

Once my 'little tests' will start to sound like this I will be a very happy man!
Very well done!! -
Is a 5150 on FW 6.0
You made my day!! -
Ok, directly after downloading, i can set the stars
This means: download, test, 2. download, vote .....
No it's not like this. After you clicked on the download link for a profile (even without actually downloading it) you can vote for it whenever you want. So if you want you can also come back one week later and still just vote for it without clicking the download link again!Cheers,

Markus, do you find that you have to cut the lower frequencies a bit with the ART310A? I recently acquired one and found I had to cut the bass and boost the mids/highs a little.
Yes I definitely had to cut the bass. However I did not have to boost the highs. I think I rather had them cut a bit as well. But with the monitor out having its own EQ this is no problem at all.
Wasn't sure how the rather cheap (compared to the NX12 ;-)) RCF would perform but I had one lying around so that's what I used for the gig. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. It performed very well and I think I will get along with it for quite some while!Cheers,

Backup, why should I export? I can extract what I need from the backup file.
Good question. However r_u_sirius was complaining about the time it takes to export all rigs. That's why I thought posting the time it takes you guys for a backup was comparing apples to oranges.Cheers,

715 here and 28 sec
Davide, is this the time for a backup or for export of all rigs? -
You should get a new usb stick with higher writing speeds. I have over 800 rigs on my stick and the backup doesnt take even one minute...
That's right, backup is that quick for me as well.
However what I think he was talking about is doing an export of all rigs. I have to second that this takes incredibly long on my KPA as well.Cheers,

- FCB1010 as midi foot controller
- KPA Monitor out into RCF ART 310A for my stage soundDid the first gig with that end of April and absolutely loved it. Best FOH and stage sound I ever had! Band mates and sound guy loved it as well. There were two guitarists in the audience who came up to me after the gig to ask about the KPA. One of them I heard has already ordered a KPA meanwhile! ;-))

Wow, looks nice. However it's definitely not the same as the Thomann one as that has the locks at the side and not the front.

I even miss a solid hard case
Go to the Thomann online shop. They have a Thon case specifically built for the KPA. I have it and it's great!!Cheers,

Wow, sounds fantastic!!

No, unfortunately this is not (yet?) existing but has been requested multiple times here in the forum.
For now what you can do is save your favourite rigs all starting with the same letters (seems like most here are just using their initials). This way you will always find them together in case you have 'sort by name' activated.Cheers,
Markus
