Why not just profile the guitar and hold it in the KPA? Select which guitar profile you want just like a cab. This is very similar to what Roland has with the VG99 and GR55, though as models instead of actual profiles. Actually creating a profile though, hmm .......

Since we're on the subject, I love the sounds Bill Ruppert gets with this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yeSM9fy_gVg

Well, I tried them out and love them. Very rare that I don't want to tweak something on a downloaded rig. The surprise is the clean rig with the boosts on.
-
Thanks Mat. I'll try these out!

I guess some fully grown men just like to play with their own rig.
Is that what fully grown men do in a jeep?
-
How do fully grown men resist trying all the new profiles that are put on the exchange daily?

I put that Greenback on my JTM30 profile and it really put some meat on its bones. I especially like how it cleans up when I roll back the volume on my guitar
Here's a link to it if anyone has an interest: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/690187…012-06-26%2019-24-18.kipr

I had saved this off a few weeks ago and have really enjoyed it on several rigs.

Mitch, if you have some time to spare in between your tour dates and gigs, it would be really appreciated if you could have the cab profiled and shared....maybe?
Looks to me as though it's already in the rigs Mitch put on the exchange. Just save them as a cab ...

After picking up my KPA I got a Liquid Foot Jr+. I think the Liquid Foot Jr+ is the ultimate midi controller for the KPA. It's very small (3 lbs) has 8 buttons that are totally programmable to do anything you want and its got a 7 color LCD for each button which you can program to change color after you hit a switch to indicate that you've done something! The main LCD is huge for a controller of this size and it's fathom powered via a 7 pin midi cable and it has an editor for PC and MAC. This is huge IMO. Check out all the specs here. My reason for posting is this... I talked to Jeff at FAMC and he said if Kemper is down he can make all his products work seamlessly with the KPA. Meaning it will do all the loading and programming automatically! No to mention the tuner will show up on the main LCD!!! Please call Jeff at FAMC and make this happen.
Sounds like a great fit! Thanks for posting this. I hope CK reads it

The few times I've had errors like that I deleted the profiles on the USB, recopied them, and then attempted to import again. It's always worked for me on the second attempt.

Welcome to the fiesta!

Welcome! You'll eventually want to go through all the profiles anyway, but putting over 1000 on at one time might be a bit overwhelming. I would ask them to give you the others in a zip file.

a lot of great sounding profiles in this pack..thank you very much
+1 I found many usable from these as wells. Thanks!
-
I just might try some. Thanks!

How did a thread on a pitch shifter pedal morph into one on a librarian/editor?
