Here is a small clip to earmatch a Petrucci lead
I started from the markIIIJP6 profile from which I modified amp settings and cab settings to add warmth and trying to tame a lot frequencies above 6khz like petrucci did.
Thumas profiles like Tills ones have a lot of thickness and an incredible feeling . After it is just a matter of eq'ing

1st part is the original track by Petrucci with delay and reverb. 2nd is my version without delay nor reverb. Didnt have time to dial reverb and delay... Lazy guy lol... This is a good tonal approximation. Strong delay and reverb for sure modify the presence also...
Your opinion ?
Very close indeed, can't wait to hear what it sounds with delay and reverb!

Thanks a million!! Great work man

This would be for programming specific scales like harmonic minor scale, blues scale etc
Yeah, I understand that
But do you have a example?

Okay, thanks!
But what about the 12 manual steps, how does this work?
I'm trying to nail the Dream Theater - the count of tuscany intro

Hi
Anyone care how to explain how the key and steps work together?

A client asked me the question, I'm not sure of the answer.
For example.
Can he use a Profile to record a rhythm track into the RC3, then change Profiles on the Kemper and play lead over the rhythm track?I believe I did this some months ago. Just connect the RC3 after the mains out. Then it record the entire profile+effects, capture, then switch profile to do some lead work

Hope somebody chime in on this...
Thanks for all your great profiles btw!
