Wow cool. I have those packs, I have to try it

Armin,
Do you want to add a real MarkIIC+ equipped with several mods (Petrucci mod, Hetfield mod, ...) to your collection ? It is in fact a MarkIIC++
Let me know
djemass
Holy cow! This would be awesome! Im very jealous of your amp sir!

Maybe a early mesa boogie mark series

Two new amp pack are available:
Pack 30: Mesa Boogie Roadstar (50 profiles)
Pack 29: Diezel VH4 (121 profiles)We profiles almost all possible sounds this great amps can produce.
Both amps are killer amps for metal and high gain - but since we profiled all 4 channels - there should be a lot of sounds for other styles as well. These amps are now also included in the Bundle4.
More information and sound samples soon.
Cool! What about us guys who already bought the 4 bundle ?

Sound clip of the Rev F recto head

And profiles are at the bottom of my page found here: http://petesprofiles.weebly.com/
I've had more time lately to work on profiles - got laid off work. DOH! Two of the recto profiles are using the 'sneap' and 'englund' settings. They are 6 and 7. As always, if you get use out of them, feel free to send me whatever you think they are worth, or not. Up to you. Hope you guys dig these, btw the first three mesa coli are a little spitty on the leads, something was weird with the mesa cab. I changed cabs and all was good... will play with it more later, but the cab I changed to sounded better anyways. I like including profiles that may not sound perfect to me because I figure someone else might use them.
Oh, and also - these have NO post EQ going on, or pre eq, or compression, or whatever - it's what the amp sounded like right off the mic. I could heat up the lows and highs on a EQ before it hits the kemper, but I'd rather give a more honest representation of what the amps sound like and let YOU season them to taste. Clips were done with no post EQ, right off the profile.
Wow, nice playing Pete, sounds really good!
Will try these profiles tonight, and i'm sure I will give you a donation

What other product has this level of support?
I totally agree!

lucky for me I have the day off today
Absolutely fantastic profiles in this. For the high gain guys, to me, the "angry mushroom" (dual rectifier) is the best Recto profile I think i've heard yet, it screams. Just alittle adjusting via the onboard EQ to suit me, and it is THE recto sound that I was trying to go for. I have only played it through my power amp (VHT 2/90/2) and 4x12 (VHT deliverance 4x12), which make EVERY profile sound amazing, and my headphones, not on an FRFR system yet, but I can tell this will transpose very nicely to a PA, or sit very well in the mix for recording. with my setup, I basically nailed Dunlop petrucci signature pick Nevermore era DHIADW tone. Your mileage may vary, but I am VERY HAPPY!
How do you set your monitor out? I use "master left", and cab off.

- Dimarzio Liquifiree, Crunchlab, Tone Zone, PAF joe, Humbucker from hell, Air Norton

Thanks, gonna try this badboy later!
-
Eventually everything I post sound clips of get put out there, I just release on my website so I can track how many downloads, etc. I need to do more profiles of the mighty racktifier anyways before I put em together in a group, I like having a fairly decent amount of profiles to put together at a time.
I'm looking forward to this! I sure will send a donation for the racktifier

Me goofing around with the solo section, I did NOT play it note for note, I probably barely even used the same scales. Was playing with some profiles I took of my rackmount rectifier, got inspired, blah blah blah.
pete
Nice lead playing dude
Please share some profile of the Mesa goodness

There's two great triaxis profiles on rigexchange (Clean, and Lead) made by Paul!
Thanks Paul!!
Looking forward to more triaxis profiles
-
Yeah, the bigger one is perfect!! IMHO
-
Or maybe the Mesa Mark IIC+ ??
-
Nice! Can't wait to try these out!!
-
Fear not!.. forget about profiling amps.. Im off to profile people and fingers!!
But its problematic, as it "squeels" when I plug the cable in the rear input....*ahem cough*
its OK lads.. I got it covered!HAHAHA
-
I run Dimarzio crunchlab and liquifire in my guitar. It just struck me that maybe lowering the passive pickups may fix the problem, what do you think?
-
That is interesting!
That's a 1500 watt power amp.Let me ask a few questions:
Do you play all 1500 watts in bridged mode, or just one side of it?
What is your setting of the input gain of your power amp roughly?
Do you play into a guitar cabinet with "MonitorCabOff", or linear speaker?
Does the clipping occur with other rigs, too?
Does the clipping occur when you play a rig without distortion, but at the same loudness?Does the clipping still occur on your favorite rig, when you set Amp Volume to the regular middle position, but bring the power amp's input down to the desired level?
The latter is a general recommendation: If you use a poweramp, don't set it's volume to high and bring all volumes down on the Profiler.
Better leave all volumes of the Profiler at roughly zero dB (that is either maximum or middle position of the knobs), unless not modified for other reasons, such as level settings between rigs.
Then adjust your power amps volume up so that it still hurts a little. After that turn down the Monitor Volume (linked to the Master Volume knob) down a bit to the desired volume, so you have some 3 or 4 dB of headroom to push by the knob.I don't expect to solve that clipping problem by this recommendation, but let's see ....
Yeah I know right!
I'm playing only one channel ruffly 470Watt (and the old cab used to be 200watt), so it's got a little headroom. The new cab is 240W (Mesa 4x12)
This clipping have started later at some point.... (or maybe I never tried slapping the low E string around F-F# position )
I have of course disconnected my speaker cable when trying to test trigger the clipping. I have tried various line/level attenuator on front of the power amp.
Right now it is on 0db equal no attenuation, max headroom, right?I play with MonitorCab Off yes, and i'm pretty sure I get the same peak with Cab on. (I need to test some more after work)
The clipping occurs with other rigs yes, but all rigs are playable. It's just that the amp clipping seems to not be profile dependent. If I stop playing a few secs, and mute E string with playing hand (frequency open E, F, F#), and slap/play really hard with picking hand, I get this pop, but if I continue, I almost cannot trigger more than the first green light of my amp.
It's like it cannot seem to adopt/regulate when hitting it hard the first note, then it starts to "regulate", and clipping disappears.Does the clipping still occur on your favorite rig, when you set Amp Volume to the regular middle position, but bring the power amp's input down to the desired level?
Do you mean turning up the attenuation on the power amp? I have run tests with disconnection speakers, and set stomp/cab/effects volumes to "0" and amp volume to "half way".
I put the Master output to almost max on the kemper, and turned UP the attenuation of the power amp to the point I got no clipping, when droning the E string. I think I ended up like 19db on the power amp.
THEN
I can put the master down to 0.2, and hit the e string hard, I get qucik clip on the power amp, strange right?I need to do some more testing after work. I hope it is something I have overlooked!
Thanks for trying to help!
