Yes most very clean warm amps will do it. lower the gain & treble, add a little compression ( FX) or AMP compression to avoid boomyness in the basses on hard attacks - You should also play with definition & clarity parameters.
Some very goodrigs for jazz ( some I made specially for my L5 copy - here is a sample :
Davoli Carlton LP ( lead tone )
Davoli jazzy strat
BB KING's Lucille
Boogie_SB_tele_jazzHARLY EL84 10:00
If you don't sort it out , I'll send you my full Jazzbox pack - free stuff of course

Thx , this is real useful.

Très chouette rig, & le pédalier WOW !!!
-
As end ending & positive note I must say that I liked the Wampler pedals profiles a lot , as well as the experiments done duplicating the Mark series on pedals. Please KB post more results and pics of those prototypes, I'm highly interested in the pics & rigs you'll do in the future.

Thx Dje & Thumas here is the final mix with Dje's part
-
A quick made one , staring Djemass on the final lead .
This song is simple but the tones are top thanks to fantastic profiles on our KPAs
Dje : JP6 & Mesa boogie mark III from Thumas
Renaud : Les Paul & strat on JCM800 KK from Hell-G and trainwreck clone from Sean ( Joptunes )
That Marshall is a fantastic recording tool , Sean profiles are also an endless source of inspiration

Excellent, really close to GnR style especially the singing , great !
Very good mix BTW

Yes j'ai bien peur que ce soit mort , bien trop de disto
La prochaine fois enregistre en sortie de KPA et remixe sur ton backing track ça sera le jour et la nuit , t'as pas d'autre enregistrement direct ?

I came across a stange behaviour from one of my favorite Les Paul rig , I've uploaded it today to Rig ex for analysing
" Marshall jtm 30 2x10LP2 "
I get a strange bass warble just like an octaver on E chords ( with hard attack ) - It's even worst while de-activating the Cab Sim
It's ok with LCF Off
Same pb with strat or LesPAul
Is there Anyone with same pb than me on this rig ?
-
man they are pure beauties

Hi I made a couple of great ACDC rigs out of my Marshall combo ( JTM30) some time ago.
the rigs are available on the rig ex under WarabA " JTM30 Angus " there is one for Angus and one for Malcolm
They are really good for breakup marshall tone with the full chords & strings separation. The Gain is indeed quite low but you might need to lower it again.

yes a sweet piece I'd love a longer one .

Hi I got some Hot fender noiselesssomewhat related to Jeff Beck. They are the sweetest thing I could play as far as single coil PU. They are absolutely noiseless, the strat is dead silent on the KPA , I never use ant noise gate on that one.
I really dig the fact that you got the classic famous strat tone with vol & tone pot around 8 , and a good modern heavy tone on 10. For Blues and Jazz just dial them at 3 to 5 et voilà , pure sonic bliss. You 'll play anything with these.
The condo must be chosen carefully in order to have that good tone range, I went to 0.022 µF if I remember well.A few tracks recorded with that strat ( a cheap chinese squier body & neck , you can tell most of the tone comes from the pickups !!! )
Hard rock : https://soundcloud.com/waraba/riding-the-hawkwind
Sweet floydish track : https://soundcloud.com/waraba/charibde-scylla ( quite the opposite of sterile to me !!! )
Hendrixian balad : http://www.riffworld.com/Members/waraba/stratyricon ( end part is a jazzbox , not the strat )

Thx mates for all your kind comments, I had fun with getting some dirty tones & feedback . It's very easy to get a classic clean straight drive tone but not that easy to get some dirty ones, I love to experiment in this way.
Having all those fantastic rigs and late firmware is pure bliss , I never had so much fun playing the guitar and layering it on DAW.
I fount a drummer , so I hope getting rid of these drum loops
-
yes killer tone , dynamic & feeling , I love the demos , THX.
-
thx KB , I wonder if you could profile some clean / pushed / crunches from the Mark IV ( Santana & blues tones for instance ) ?
I love your work so far, you're a real stakhanovist
-
After a few days, I really feel the improvement in tone, the tones are even more lovely than before, thx C.Kemper & team

Hi !
Another moody / ambient demo track with lots of dirty 70's tones and a few synths, I did it while trying some PZM rigs & stuff.
It's daaaaark and I'd love to put some whispered voices over it.
