+1 These functionality is essential. I would like to choose my rigs by style of sounds (as if I put them in different folders on my computer).

Both of the CK proposals are interesting, it depends of ours needs/tastes/money...
Please let us choose any footcontroller we want.
It would be more productive IMHO to develop the Midi configuration interface as we could use any footcontroller without effort (for example a Kemper!).
Please see my detailed proposal here. -

Hi,
It would be interesting to activate the tuner with a PC.
At this moment you can only activate the tuner with a CC (not a PC).
It depends of your footcontroller/your profiles/your effects...
It could be interesting to choose which CC or PC we want to use for activating the tuner.JP

Not so glad to hear about a specific Kemper Foot Controler and votes for this.
Instead of that, a more configurable Kemper system would be comfortable for everybody.Lexicon MPG G2 have a "learn" mode for midi CCs and PCs. It's a quite older rack effects so the KPA could use the same "old" idea.
You chose an internal controler (all are available, not just some of
them), you activate a footswitch or a expression pedal on your
footcontroler: the Lexicon recognises the CC.You validate. Very easy to use!
Manual : http://www.lexiconpro.com/product_downlo…uals/MPX_G2.pdf
See pages named 4-2 and 4-3 to see the configuration of a CC for an internal controler, and page named 4-4 for the learn mode.
You can also link two external expression pedals and two external footswitch to any internal controler.
You can even link any CC with several internal controlers.
No need to take time to program your footcontroler or something else, just activate both sides of the link, validate, it's done!
You can create and imagine all kind of configuration, eg. control the phaser deth and the boost drive with the same CC, increase drive and decrease volume like you want in the same time with the same CC, decrease the feedback of the delay and increase the mix of the phaser...
Hope that you will find this proposal very very very interesting!
With this kind of interface, you can use the foot controler you want with the price you want...

+1 for the intelligent pitch shift
+1 for editor (open and multiplateform) -
Reading a FAQ is also a way of learning how to use your KPA with the best hints!
It's often a better way to learn when you are familiar with the basic functions. -
Why did we buy another footcontroler when KPA could be more customizable?
See feature request and proposals in the
Freedom for midi CC chart discussion.

Hi
Several questions have answers when you search the forum.
It is not always easy to find the answer and some of the users (me don't always think about the search function. It could be useful to begin a FAQ about KPA.
Personaly, I have not time to do that job but I propose the first item.Q: My monitor output doesn't work!
A: You have to (1) backup your data, (2) reset your KPA, (3) restore your data.JPG

Yeah, but on the other way we would be with 100 posts less!!!
The other thing is that you/we will probably have to answer the same in a couple of weeks time, as many seem not to use the search function in the forum!
You're right! I'm sorry for that. I used forum for linux but not for music stuff, so I have completly forgotten to use the search function!
Thank you all for your help and advicesI will propose the idea of a FAQ by the users!

Hi
I received my KPA on last friday.
The main output and the headphone give some sound as expected.
There is no sound with the monitor output, with or with the cab option.
I think I understand how the master command works: there are 3 commands (main, monitor, headphones) that can be linked with the master volume (top right of the KPA).Did I miss something?

When the editor works through the network interface, then it could be easily cross platform. So every Mac, Linux and Windows user could benefit of it!
Yes, don't forget Linux platform!
