Accusations should be backed up with real proof. You, others or I don't know if this is true or not. I don't care if others claim the accusation is true or not. As long as there's no real proof, it's only a bad rumour and we don't need it here on this serious forum.

I'm not judging, but if I had to put a band-aid on those wasps I might start with:
Fizz Shite 1: 4267Hz / 1.59Q / -16.29 dB
Fizz Shite 2: 3621Hz / 1.34Q / -12.51 dB
Fizz Shite 3: 4311Hz / 1.83Q / -14.22 dB...those are some pretty big cuts for sure!

Big cuts like that won't be a problem solver.

Same....I just like playing and tweaking so hard to resist. Lame when the profiles don't work out for whatever reason.
The thing is they work great for their guitars and pickups and playing style. Only a few of packs I have purchased have worked great for all 4 guitars I have. But like you I'm like the most, new sound is always tempting and if they're great they will inspire to a new riff/song.

I thought the Archon profiles were pretty good. The packs I purchased....well...someone needs to take my $ accounts away.
I know how it feels. I've done that too with some other vendors a few times.

Did anyone try to free Archon pack that STL released?
Yes I did. Tested the profiles with all my 4 guitars and they sucked. Well at least for me. I mean the Mb pack I have is great and thick tones. But the distorted profiles all sounded thin and like a phaser is on all the time. I erased them. I would have cried blood if I had paid forthem.

Some high gain profiles are made to work with down tuned guitars e.g. B. So guitars in E standard will sound too bright. Some can be tweaked to sound better but if they're too bright, move on to some other profiles.

Do you guitar(s)have a good setup?

Welcome and you have hours of information and knowledge to suck in here on the best forum on the net.

Oh, that's going to take some getting used to!
Really?

I hope I still can play guitar when I'm 70. I hope I'm still alive at 70.

I would like a lighter weight Stage & Remote . Maybe a Aluminum case.
Every ounce helps
Grow some more muscles instead

I learned fairly early on that the dynamic, rich, and awesome tone you get practicing alone in your home is NOT the tone the audience will ever get to hear, unless you invite each one separately for a back-studio pass. Which is a wonderful idea if that audience member is cute!
In times like this that is not a very bad idea. You girls come along with me. All you boys go the to left to bass player. He sucks anyway like the most bass player does.

many amateur players love Kemper but just can’t afford $2k. or don’t need so many features.
Is it possible to build a stomp box with one profile. ? Maybe 3 or 4 knobs and a foot switch,
Maybe a larger box with 3 or 4 different amps. and a few more knobs and switches ?
If this is possible for $200. to $500. I think there’s a huge untapped market.
If they can't afford a kemper there are other alternatives e.g. Mooer who make cheap and good stuff. There are even good enough free ampsims.

deleting Profiles seems counter-intuitive to the 'play first' approach

Hello everyone!
As you probably know, there could be massive differences in the way different guitars "digest" your profiles...
For example, I build a performance with my Strat and I absolutely love it, but then when I play with a Les Paul It sounds pretty bad...
I imagine most people here have more than 1 guitar, so what is your way of using your KP with couple different guitars?
Cheers
Just like with real amps. You need different sounds for different guitars. Big difference between sc and hb. You can't tweak a sound for a strat and expect it to sound killer too with a les paul.

I don't mean to be harsh but if you buy such a expensive thing like a kemper, new or used, and don't even bother to read the manual?
-
I can't see any point for parallel compression for guitar.

Thanks guys. How do you like it GearJocke?
Mainly bought it for the evertune system, which is working extremely well for recording. Never have to scratch a take again due to tuning issues.
It's a great guitar. The only con is that it's a bit heavy in the back.
