maybe the OD/Dist stomps are not profiles but modelisation ?

Audio
- added: Aux In Volume can be controlled separately for Main and Monitor/Headphone Out
- fixed: noise affecting clean sounds
- fixed: Pitch Shifter tracking lack immediately after rig change
- fixed: Wah Lowpass and Hipass signal levels corrected
- fixed: clipping of guitar signal on Direct Out and SPDIF Out - changed: New ‘Initialised Rig’ is now based on Christoph Kemper’s first profile ‘CK 0’the cause of everything ?

I'm arguing for the need to achieve a specific sound and a better emulation of the sound heard when recording a real amp in a real room with the mic further than 0 inches from the grill and the amp at ear splitting volumes in a deadened space.
The Kemper is very good, but it's not perfect. You have to add reverb if you want the result to sound close to the real deal. My goal may not be your goal with the Kemper.
It means that the profiling should be able to take the time signature of the room, as when you're making impulse of a given place with a sweep or a shotgun-like sound then deconvolving...
I agree it's not what it does for now...
Technically, it should be possible for the profiling process to capture an impulse, but how to ged rid of the pream/amp/speaker/mic part of it...? -

+1 with your original request...
It may be much more easy to implement in a next firmware release, while we're waiting for a librarian software with an advanced management of rigs and performanceshere's the code :
for perf=1 to performances.Count
for slot=1 to 5
writeOnUsb(rigs[perf,slot]) -
As we use the performance to store and organize the rigs, we can delete them from the pool...
The "store to pool" allows to get back a rig in the browser pool, one by one...
But what if we want all of them back ?
Don't we need some kind of "Export Rigs" available from the performance mode to get back all our rigs stored only in there ? -
these are fx, not parameters : CK was talking about parameters for tweaking the amplifier section of the stack
-
they sound massive and tight at the same time...thanks !

Welcome !
The KPA delivers so many kick ass sounds I can't choose my fav ! -
Quote
When I used any clean sound with my LP - I got some kind of noise (light distortion)
I had that too with my LP but I thought it was because of the hot pickups (500T)...I should check that with this new firmware...
-
page 8/9 in the "System" menu...
my fault, it's titled "Erase Non-Favourites" -
another way of doing :
1.change your owner name in the KPA for anything different
2.do "delete all but favourites" (there's no more favourites since they're tagged with the original owner name)
3.reset your original owner name
4.done -
1265 rigs IS a lot of rigs, you really have to use backup instead of export
Backup : soft button "Internal Storage", then the button "Backup/Restore" is at the left of the screen, before the Import/Export button. If you don't have, maybe your OS is too old, but before an update, for allocated ans shared memory reasons you should have less than 1000 rigs...Search the forum for that, you will find some kind of explanations...
And yes, it's easy to update the firmware
-
- a backup should be way faster than an export, if you have a lot of rigs
- I have a USB stick that has never correctly worked, while another one does -
+1 !
a library manager for the rigs AND the performances ! -
Rather than an editor, my biggest concern is to get a serious librarian to manage efficiently my growing collection of rigs and performances...

so you mean they're lying publicly telling on a forum it is currently a work in progress ?
