@anyone at Kemper...a little bit of teasing about the features of the librarian & editor, please !
will it manage performances (content and ordering, for example) ?

but... where are the "plocks plocks"* ?

Welcome among the kemperfreaks !
I had less gain when reamping. I realized that the output on my soundcard settings was set below 0dB, which was the cause.
it was a setting on spdif output ?
I don't have such settings on my very basic Presonus FireBox 1st gen...
I have slightly less gain with the reamping too (SPDIF and Git/Stack method, Presonus Firebox)
I have previously posted here : http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…2915&highlight=#post92915
Now I know it, I can live with, and adjusting levels...
Welcome to the Great Quest of Your Favorite Tone !
And remember : even the profiles that do not sounds good at first may become great when tweaked with a cab that fits your taste !
I have a simple Squier Classic Vibe Tele + the Kemper and some crunchy profiles = after all these years into metal, I've discovered the rough sound of rock !
QuoteEach time you think that a stock profile sound great without modifications, you should save the cab. You should be surprised.
good advice...I'm not used yet to save seperate elements for further use...I should !
hi and lo pass filter are "hidden" in the wah type fx
So you think they aren't as good as Tills or GH for example ?
I often tweak the hi-gain profiles with some cabs of GH (or Tills) and it works quite well to correct the profiles souding too boxy or fizzy to my taste...
But having other cabs, less dedicated to hi-gain, may help for tweaking crunch or overdriven profiles...
the Hi input, with boost on (pre and post- stack) is so thick and fat with my drop-B tuned LP (with hot 500T PU) ! I love it ! Thanks for these profiles !
QuoteAlso I found out, that it depends a lot on the pickup
+1
And I would say that if some rigs are too trebly, some others are too dark...But, wait : it depends on the guitar I'm using ...Too dark with my LP may be OK with my Telecaster...
Just like in real life with real amps : there is no setting that fits every guitar in the world...
So you have to tweak the profile according to the guitar you want to play with.

@VESmedic1
If the profiles are too bright for your own taste, just back off the treble /presence a bit. This should work in the most cases. I already did 2 albums with some of these tones and just had to use a low and highpass filter. Works really great for me.
As told, I will try the high/lowpass filter, to keep the cab signature...Up to now, I did try to tweak profiles only by changing the cab (for a GuitarHack IR or a Tills one) while having some regrets to lose the original cab+mike signature
QuoteI have profiles by all of them
how lucky man you are for both having those profiles and, most of all, knowing these great people !
just for you to know : the famous guitarhack IR pack has been transformed into cab profiles...very useful...
you need Tills cabs pack too...
I find the NG profiles sounding very rich in high freqs, almost fizzy, when played with my Gibson LP (500T pickups, drop B tuned)
I'm the only one having to tweak the profiles that much ?
You know you can transform IR into cab profiles with the Cab Maker tool ?
