Hey all.
Here are a couple more Rush tunes that I tracked with the Kemper a while back. Thanks for taking the ear-time!

Wait until Caeser catches wind of this.

I'm a guitar guy first so maybe I don't require everything a real bassist would, but for me the Kemper provides pretty much every bass tone I'm ever gonna need for recording purposes. Bought the Kemper for guitar. Works fantastic for bass - extra bonus!
Cool, thanks! The originals are all, well, original - and the serious end of things for me. The covers are usually with youtube assistance and just for fun. I really get a kick out of seeing how I can fit myself and the Kemper into tunes I still hold dear from my youth.
The Kemper never disappoints.
I used the PRS to track the rhythm and all lead parts, with the exception of the endlessly sustained notes for which I used the Schecter with the Sustainiac. Works great with the Kemper!
Oh yeah, the drums and bass I found on youtube. Only the guitar is me. I wish there were some dudes where I live to record stuff like this with. I just played the guitar parts and then tweaked the mix a bit, all just for fun. So I hope you still dig the guitar! Thanks for taking the time!
Looks like I used a Soundside.de "Egghead Tweak 88 Seeking to re-create the sound of a Egnater® Tweaker 88 Amplifier" profile. I renamed it for my own purposes when I recorded, and don't remember exactly which one. The inspector in rig manager states that the author is "Soundside.de", the manufacturer and model is "ETweak", and the cabinet is manufacturer is "Elm".
Thanks for listening! Think it's a Friedman of some sort. Can't recall the particular profile. Will find out when I get home and report back.
Hey all.
Took a whack at covering Rush YYZ. Alex is always a quirky challenge, but great fun to try!

Thanks for giving it a spin!
Thank you, everyone!
Guess youtube may be blocked for some countries, for whatever reason.
Please use the dropbox link if youtube isn't doing its thing properly for you:

Thank you for listening and for the kind words, my fellow primate! Much appreciated!
That's strange, I just clicked on the link in your quoted material and it took me right to it. Try this if the youtube link doesn't function, hopefully it will work:

Hello All!
Here's a new Instrumental tune I wrote called "A Lie Becomes The Truth" with my good buddy of over 30 years, the inimitable Fulton Calvery. Only took us 30 years or so to finally track a song together! Great fun! All rhythm guitars, and bass are Kemper driven. Fulton's lead work is Bias FX and his actual Marshall on the fade work. I think they all play nicely with each other. Thanks for taking the time to give it a spin, hope you dig!
Yes, the Sustainiac works the same way. Neck pickup, uses a battery, creates a magnetic field to vibrate the strings just like a built in ebow.
I've used a Schecter Blackjack SLS C-1 FR S with a Sustainiac and the Kemper quite a bit for recording. Works great! Not sure how much different a Sustaniac is than a Fernandez, though...
Yup. Score a new amp for 4 bucks? Where else can you have this much fun for $4? I buy everything of Guido's blind. Fabulous!
Spent a few hours playing thru these profiles yesterday. Terrific! Michael's got it going on, and a super helpful, nice guy. Check out his personal website. Looking forward to any upcoming profile releases!
Thanks for the quick response! 60 minute turn around, nice! "1 hour profiles", I can see the store front now. Looking forward to checking these out. The demos sound killer!
