yeapp, definitly great!
+1 on which profile?
-
Fantastic tone man!
-
Yeah, Hearse kicks ass!
-
personally I´d start with the bulb rythm patch and go from there. Other options would include the second 5150II pack from James (Stymphalian Productions) There is a profile in there called "snarler". Add a good amount of mids to it, add a graphic EQ in the X-slot and cut the highest frequency by about - 8db and that would probably get you quite close aswell! Depending on your pickups reduce the gain aswell to something like 6.8

Yeah that soundcloud link is gone. I´d love the check out how the bareknuckles sound!
-
Yeah I keep listening to the samples on soundcloud and youtube. Really digging them... Would be my first commercial rig pack though so I´m still thinking "is it really necessary or can I achieve the same result with free profiles?"...
@Hannes_ITS: Infecting The Swarm is brutal!!! I´m not too much into the growling (as in: I like high screams as well) but the rest is awesome! Is that a Kemper tone you´re using on the album? Tour Germany with Sophicide, please ;)...
hahah thanks man and yeah, thats a kemper tone on the album All guitars and bass were done with the toaster.
When it comes to the "is it really necessary..." - it all depends. Personally I think there are enough amazing free profiles to get insane guitar tones. Best examples are all of the Kosten profiles from the rig exchange and his personal blog and videos, all the free Fluff profiles, the free Keith Merrow profiles, Lasse´s profiles, the GRStudios profiles, Hearse Studio Profiles, Hour of Penance profiles etc. etc.. These will pretty much get you wherever you want. Commercial profiles are a fantastic way to get some specific amp tones and styles but overall (if you know which ones to try) you won´t ever need to spend a buck to get a great guitar tone going.

The free sinmix, kosten and Fluff profiles work great on my 7

Thanks for sharing!

Fantastic work man. The sound is flawless! Killer guitar tones, as expected!
-
As a person who had the chance to test this once already I can say it is awesome!

Couldn't tell Ya about this EP, sorry guys. Eyal is no longer associated with audiohammer from what I understand. They have a mutual grouo of profiles they use, predominantly done by one of the guys. If the leads are a marshall, I almost gusrentee it's marks CAE/Golub modded marshall he uses a ton for leads (most recent conquering dystopia). This is also the amp/profile used on the recent death angel album.
Oh wow, didn´t know that eyal wasn´t part of audiohammer anymore. So it´s just mark and jason now? And thanks for the info!

So I measured the temp and humidity in my cases and one was at 40-43% and the other was 46%. Any product out there that can controll the humidity in my cases? I looked into the planet waves humidipak but it seems like it´s more for acoustics since it has to be put INTO the guitar.
-
I've been a luthier for 40 yrs and would suggest boiled (not raw) linseed oil for the unfinihed fingerboard. Ebony, not as much Rosewood, will split if it gets too dry.
And especially if your guitar is finished with laquer I would avoid high humidity, as the wood will swell and split or check the finish.Oh, thanks a lot for that insight! Thats some solid information!

Ok what is TLC?
-
Ok so the basics should be (since I live in germany which is about as humid as the UK I think?):
Leaving the guitars in their cases
and
Not worrying about humidity?
-
So the humidity isn´t even a factor with e-guitars? I can´t imagine that since they are made out of wood aswell.
As for what you said about the temperatur, I think that makes perfect sense and is some great advice, thanks!

hahahaha that telecaster didn´t think it could sound as metal as it apparently does!
-
whoa. If this doesn´t scream Pulp Fiction I don´t know what does. Awesome stuff!

Sounds pretty cool man, good job!
