I can hear it in the main output that goes to my amplifier + cab , and it's a big hassle to turn it off , then turn it on again when i'm on the headphones , at least a few times a day, when i don't forget it !

Deny, I've gone the same path as you. I have tried the low pass, the param EQ, the character setting (i had to put it at 3 or 4 though), never being satisfied with the resulting tone in the high ends.
I ended up using the profiles without tweaking anything except for the tone stack, and i think my ears have finally been accustomed to it.
From my experience a frequency curve that is flatter in the midrange works better than one that has a bigger hump or cut in the mids. That's exactly what i'm feeling too. But, Tyler, you created so many cabs, I'd be curious which ones you have identified as being of that kind ? which are the ones you're using the most ?

I'm not particularly into black metal, but I liked your song
-
Still that would be great if we could just leave the left/right RIG buttons pressed for a while and it would continue to scroll (at even higher speed).
that's an usual UI thing -
Go to the output section, page 3/5 and check Monitor cab off is not turned on.
Edit: Guitartone you got me

I think it's because he's running in a cab (badcat 4x12) and he didn't turn off the kemper's cabinet simulation.

Hey Vivz : http://www.thomann.de/fr/plane…_mini_headstock_tuner.htm
I have one on each of my guitars. Works perfectly ! -
It's good to know but, there are 4 browse rig buttons and all 4 are usefull ; also I already have a midi footcontroller, so that would be much more convenient with Midi Commands
-
When trying a bunch of profiles, and searching a good matching cabinet, I'd like to keep my hands on the guitar, otherwise it is a big pain
-
And before anyone tries to play the Steve Vai card here, as far as I know he only uses it for effects, which I'm sure are stellar,
I can confirm this.
I have an account at Jamplay, and I asked his fellow guitarist Dave Weiner during a live chat about how they used the Axe : effects only. -
Since a looper hast to be operated with a footswtich (well at least for 99% users), my guess is it will be included in the future dedicated foot controller.

The Kemper is about $300.00 cheaper than the Axe FX II .
For those in Europe, it's even 800 euros (>$1000) cheaper !
-
Or an headphone amp (50/100 euros for a decent one)
And how about using the direct+monitor outputs set to master left/right ? -
I exchanged a few emails a month ago with matrix, saying I could wait until september/october for their camplifier-like product.
They didn't answer that point, but they pointed me to their other products. So I guess it's not for anytime soon. -
Excellent, thank you Maurizio
Pitch shifter stomp for stereo pan, wah pedal stomp for low pass filter, well... as long as it works, I don't care -
Hi,
After searching the forum 30 mn, I'm asking my question here, I though it was an obvious feature.
So just would like to assign MIDI commands to the 4 RIG buttons, and while there I would like commands to browse cabinets as well.
Possible ? -
I'll receive a stereo camplifier this week, and I have two different speakers in a 2x12 cab.
Depending on the rig, I would like to use the left one, the right one, or both. -
What are the possible ways to mute the left or the right channel in a rig ?

Hi
I've just uploaded a bunch of profiles I made with my BAT Sarcophagus pedal.
The Sarcophagus is actually 2 fuzz pedals in one : Pharaoh & LSTR.
You can combine them or play them alone.Note that I wanted to create some Sarcophagus profiles with both pedals turned on but the Kemper always complained about too much noise, unless the fuzz amount was ridiculous.
So you only get separate Pharaoh & LSTR
The LSTR is basically a Big Muff like pedal, so I put the emphasis on the Pharaoh which has its own character. Here are some youtube demos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRYBr3n5CYA
The profiles have been made with a Line 6 DT25 tube amp, through the cab simulated output.
As this simulation is not very good I replaced the cab with one that works well for me.
Feel free to experiment with other cabs. For each settings, I made 2 profiles:
A : clean channel (topology 1)
B : drive channel (topology 2)Some noticeable profiles, for which I used the settings that you can see in the videos above:
Pharaoh 1: Clean headroom , low gain (justnick)
Pharaoh 2: Stoner , neck
Pharaoh 3: Hendrix blues (justnick)
Pharaoh 4: Crossroads Clapton
Pharaoh 5: Stoner , Mastodont
Pharaoh 6: Muse
Pharaoh 7: Articulated fuzz tone (justnick) -
But does this guy play like Buckethead ?
Not an easy tribute...
