I would highly recommend you to check XVive U2 Wireless system http://www.xviveaudio.com/productInfo.asp?id=298 (there is a black version too). Really easy to use, small and portable system, with good range and latency, no interferences and tone degradation. For some the built-in battery may be problem in the future, though.

Larry amps sound like Diezels to me...i would try a combination of Diezel Herbert and Marshall JVM...really tight sounding amps, exactly what you need.

Your right laddie! Just don't like messing with something that otherwise runs perfectly and smoothly. Darn OCD!Ok, this old geezer will try it tonight and report back
I can totally understand you, i have other serious OCDs myself. This guide just creates a custom power plan which is selectable, so you can revert. Maybe you could check the settings of this power plan one by one by yourself to see the different settings that made the problem disappear, if it does.
-
I wonder what the "Audio Processing" power plan should do different than what I have manually configured for 100% full system performance at all times.
I cannot understand why you don't just try it, it's free It has helped a lot of people with powerful computers (my friend with amd had this problem with 2nd gen too and fixed it with this guide) And i don't think it has to do with how powerful a computer is.

This indeed helped me on my older laptop.
Now I am on Core i5 PC with Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 and no clicks. But @RookGarner you may check this solution, since I tried all guides by Focusrite support and it didn't help then.
It helped a friend of mine too, who has an AMD powered pc.

Guys...we don't even know if a profile is direct amp (ok, cab is off), studio or merged directly from our units, so what are you talking about? It could be a simple "D", "S" and "M" symbol somewhere on kemper's screen. I know that it will be implemented one day that's why i am not complaining...there is always a more important feature than some others.
-
Exactly - and good call on checking the pure cab parameter afterwards, as it now defaults to 3.0, right?.
That's right
-
Man, just do a factory reset. You should have done it before even starting this thread. Backup everything if you want and do it. Most of the times it solves these kind of problems. Just after the reset check again for pure cab option to be off.
-
Could you upload for me a photo from output settings where the pure cab option is found to check something?
-
Do you have monitors directly connected with Kemper or with audio card first and then to Kemper? Check output menu and you will find your main out levels and you can adjust them as you like. Believe me, you have much more volume with Kemper than you need.

I've got the files recorded - a DI and dirt track. I'll provide those with the 3rd party profile I used so that any interested volunteer can see if they get the same results with their KPA. BUT the flippin' forum software has a file size limit of just 1MB and I don't have any kind of account to upload things to....
Just upload it to zippyshare or sendspace and paste the link here.

Apologies, I did check it, thought I responded, my bad. It's off. My issue goes beyond flubbiness, the thing sounds....synthetic
Yeah, i know. It's like playing with pod, plastic, artificial and narrow sound, just like the samples my friend gave me to test. Check also pure cabinet option in cab block and check to set all values of it to zero. I think some setting is wrong. You could always take a backup and downgrade to a previous firmware version and check again. Or do a complete reset from maintenance hidden menu. I don't think your kpa is faulty. -
I wrote you something in the 3rd post of this thread
Disable (global) pure cabinet option in output menu and test the profile you created again.
but didn't get an answer. Did you check it?
What i heard from the samples is exactly the same problem a friend of mine had with his kpa. After he disabled this option then the sound came back to normal, crystal clean, no flubbiness, a great tight and well defined sound.
