Hi, I just got my kemper toaster 2 weeks ago (although II have owned several in the past) and cleared out all the profiles (via RM) to just re-populate with my most commonly used ones to start. I have only 6 profiles on the unit and it takes 1:02 to boot which seems quite long as I thought boot time had a correlation to the # of profiles it was initializing when starting up?
Thanks,

great, thanks guys!

Hi, I have searched around a fair bit...theampfactory, michael britt etc and I am wondering where to buy Direct profiles for use with poweramp and cab? I went on their respective sites but didn't see anything that was noted specifically as "direct"
Maybe I am missing something entirely
Thanks,

Thanks, I did check and have my input locked at -2.0db for clean sense and 0.0db for distortion sense.
Thanks,

Hi, I have previously owned a non-powererd head which I absolutely loved. Unfortunately I had to sell it but just picked up another mint non-powrered head in White. I loaded some of my old favourite profiles into the new profiler like the Morgan AC20 etc and my other go-to based on a Vox AC30. The thing I am noticing is that they seem too loud too quick. For example, I used to bring the master volume up to 1.8-2.0 to be loud enough for my purposes but now they seem to hit that same volume threshold around 0.3. Meaning I have essentially no room to set the volume in between as there is so little from between 0.0 - 0.3. Other profiles still seem to function as expected where I have to bring the volume up to get to decent volumes.
Any thoughts what might cause this?
Thanks,

I am using valve amp head and cab as well
The best ones up to date for this setup are Soft Egg (SOVTEC) profiles from Thomas Dill , Profiler Work Shop pack .
Soft Egg Blue Driver profile is on the first place, add some pure buster and gain, and you will be surprised .
Add some real ( BB in my case) pedal in front and you will be blown away .I've made about 20 rigs just out of one single Blue Driver profile ...These are now my work horse ones.
These profiles are not so superior for my QSC and studio monitors , but with real amp and cab , they are the best I ever heard from Kemper .
Per example , I've made the best possible Garry Moore profile up to date with this profile , one would not believe ..this is real Gary tone heaven ...
Or maybe all of this is just about my specific guitars, amp and cab, who knows..... but who care if works so well ..
ps
Play loud ,YJM was damn right ...
***Nevermind, just found them in the Rig Packs under support**** Thanks, I will check them outHi Rescator,
Would you happen to have a link to these profiles you mentioned?
Thanks,

Hi All,
Just wondering about the best type of profiles for use with a Fryette 2/502 (EL34 based) powamp and cab. Ideally this would be a profile that has much of the cab colouring not included. ***I know the upcoming release will allow the separation of amp and cab, which I look forward to***
Types of amps I typically use
Vox
Fenders

It's not possible without additional gear, afaik.
Reason: The Axe FX is 48kHz fixed sample rate while the Profiler is 44.1kHz fixed sample rate. So you probably need a sample rate converter in between. Thanks, I will look into that

No harm in using the Axe as an interface, especially if you make use of its FX. But if it's just to connect your Kemper to your DAW, you should get an adaptor. The Focurite will also have more advanced routing capabilities if you're doing stuff like recording other instruments, vocals, etc.
excellent, thanks!

Thanks Ingolf.
I already have the Axe II anyway so I just thought I might use it as an interface.
Thanks,

Thanks. I also have the Focusrite Scarlette 8i6....would that do a better job than routing through the Axe? The reason I am asking is I bought the 8i6 about a year ago but haven't used it more than 30 min or so back then. I went to try it out but have misplaced the power adapter, so it looks like I will need to order a new one. Just wondering if there is a big advantage of the one over the other?
Thanks,

Just wondering gif it is possible to use the Axe FX II as an audio interface to connect the Kemper and Logic Pro X?

The 2:90 doesn't need to be connected to another speaker . I have one myself and always use one side only into 1 cab. I think you have to set both the volume and presence to zero to stop the unused side from working. Check the Mesa manual . It explains what to do.
Thanks, you are correct, I have verified this in the manual.

Hi, I usually run my Kemper into my Mesa 2:90 and out to (2) 2x12 cabs in stereo. If I want to only run a single cab with the same setup, how can I put a load on the other speaker output of the Mesa as it needs to be connected to a speaker when powered on.
Thanks,
D
