Hi Rockarena,
I am pretty sure you need to assign the effects to the four buttons on the upper row of switches just below the Looper and Tuner switches on the remote.
To link the effect to any of these switches, simply press and hold the effect button on the front of the profiler and then press switch I - IV while holding. You can repeat this process to assign up to four FX per button.
You can also use the switches to toggle between FX by adjusting their active state once they have been assigned to the switch. Do this by pressing the FX button on the Kemper.
You can still use Morphing to to adjust any continuously controllable parameter in any effect you have assigned.
Remember to store your rig once you have tweaked it to your satisfaction.
Hope this helps.

Hi Paults
Many thanks for your reply.
Yes, I am aware that I can do this. What I want to do is by-pass having to keep stepping on the loop button to activate the looper in the changed rig.I play a couple of songs where I start the loop in one rig, change to another rig to play a solo/overdub the loop, and then finish on a third rig. This is further complicated by having to close the looper, change rigs, re-open the looper to overdub and then play on until I have to stop the loop, close the looper and then change rigs again. It would save lots of stomping, timing headaches and margin for error if the looper didn't render the rig change buttons unusable while engaged.
Hence my comment in my first post about making the loopers use more elegant.
If there is a work around with separate switches that enable the looper as a constantly open feature then that would be a step in the right direction with regards to this.
The Kemper is so amazing in so many ways, the team are so good at picking up on useful developments. This is one I think would help many users. Of course that's only my opinion!
Have a great day.
Cheers

Anybody?
Is it just me?
Am I the only one who thinks this is a good idea? (Enter tumble weed)
I'd love to step on just one button (next performance slot) and have the looper controls open on buttons 1- 5. Especially when having to start a loop immediately after changing rig.
I really don't want to have to buy another footswitch to have looper controls away from the remote. Makes adding in other effects/morphing etc even more of a balancing act.
Would a separate mini pedal work all the time anyway? Surely, I would have to activate the looper as normal using the looper switch first, negating the whole point of the extra switch anyway.
Please let me know if I've got the wrong end of the stick on this!
Anyone have any views?
Cheers

Hi Everyone,
I have a JTV59. I find that using modelled guitars works very well indeed. However, I will almost always choose my Strat over the Spank Variax model, as it just has that bit more bite. I suspect that I would have the same opinion if I was fortunate enough to own all the real guitars that the Variax models.
I find Andy's 'The Amp Factory' rigs provide all the necessary tonal ground for my covers band.
I do have different clean sense settings for the different models, to help even out volume balance. This works well. I have also tweaked output volume for some JTV models using Variax workbench.
The JTV is not perfect, but does cover a serious amount of ground. If you are a guitarist on a budget, and you are looking for an all in one solution then the Variax does a good job.
I really like the Gretsch Country Gentleman and the Les Paul models.
Kind regards

Hi Everyone.
As far as I am aware, it does not seem possible to change from one rig, without the looper engaged, to another rig with the looper immediately active. Instead one has to stomp on the rig change button first and then the looper button on the KFC.It would be really useful to be able to select a 'Looper Active' option on a rig by rig basis. The looper would appear as the rig changes. Stomp buttons and morph/wah/pitch pedals would retain their function as they already do when the looper is manually engaged. This would lessen some tap dancing, reduce the margin for error when performing live and make using the looper more elegant.
Please let me know if I've somehow missed how to implement this feature if it is already an option. However, if I am right, does anyone else think this is a worthy feature to develop? I would primarily be interested in this feature being implemented in Performance Mode.
Cheers

Wow. This investment keeps getting better.
Haven't downloaded yet but can't wait to have a noodle with all of these.
Trying to get my head around all the options and parameters is going to take a little time.
Thanks Kemper Team you are amazing!

Dear fellow Kemperites,
Please excuse me for the interjection but...
That is by far the best table with a delayed order I have ever seen.
Can't wait for the main course!

Hold on?
That is the best example of a 'delayed reaction' that I've ever heard of!
Glad you got it sorted.

Hi Everyone,
This is a settings request rather than a share so apologies for that. I am wondering if it's now possible to recreate the guitar sound for Map of the problematique by Muse. From what I've read elsewhere, the original was achieved using a fuzz, Whammy 4, an arpeggiator and some delay/reverb.
Now I know the Kemper does not have an arpeggiator, but could the quad delay for example be set to mimic the rhythm pattern?
I'm not really sure how to start to generate this sort of sound, but thought I ask if anyone else is of the same mind and has already had a go?
Kind regards

Dear Kemperites,
Have just spent a few minutes in crystal heaven. So many parameters. Love the reverse setting, makes the whole thing so lush and richly textured. Worth the wait.
Christmas has come early!
Thanks Kemper!

Yes
I am aware of that. It's just that I had the same message regarding copying content across. Performances and rigs in slots. None of it would copy, and when the KPA finally appeared in RM after re-installation and I tried to re-order the slots and performances with it, RM messed them all up, names rigs and all and sundry.
So, the common link is the content message but the effect for me was far wider.
Hope you get the issue sorted soon.
Kind regards

Hi,
I couldn't copy or paste any performances from my profiler into RM on Saturday, let alone arrange them in RM to adjust performance order and the slots within performances. Had to do it all manually on the profiler as I had a gig.
@paults said it's not possible to paste a performance directly to All Performances in Local Library but you must first set up a sub folder then try.
I thought I had tried to paste to a sub folder but got the same failed message about profiler content.
I opened up a support ticket.
When I get time to have another look at the KPA with my PC attached, I'll see if I can get it to work.
Cheers

Dear @paults and nightlight.
Many thanks for the replies. I was getting a bit stressed yesterday! Gig went off well. KPA behaved itself and sounded as awesome as always.
Switching was really quick and the led switching made a big difference to me.
When I get some proper time to go back into RM I'll set up a sub folder and try to paste performances into it.
I thought the was what I tried to do, but I was in a hurry. I wasn't helped by having a stinking cold and a majorly busy work week.
Anyway, as I said the manual shuffle about worked so no major harm just a bit of stress.
Hey ho!
Thanks again.
