Have you already tried to reformat the USB stick or use a different one?

You can use the same USB stick as before. Simply replace the kaos.bin in the OS update folder with the new one.

-
Monitor cab off should only be activated when using the Profiler with a regular nonlinear guitar cab,
When you use a FRFR monitor you should leave it inactive. But either way it will have no influence on the sound coming out of the main outs. -
I can assure you that we only use a standard Profiler for our tutorial videos.

Please read the Pedal link chapter in the reference manual which explains how to configure a single pedal to do several jobs depending on the selected rig.
here is an expert:
One dedicated pedal for volume and the Morph Pedal to be shared for Wah and pedal pitch effects
Please follow the above instructions to connect and calibrate your Volume and Morph Pedals. You have got nodedicated Wah nor Pitch Pedal.
Then, go to the "Pedal Links" page in System Settings, and select the “MorphPedal >Wah” and “MorphPedal >Pitch”options. Now, your Morph Pedal is the master for Morphing, Wah and pedal pitch effects, and controls all of thosesimultaneously. Most of the time, you might want to control just one of those. So, if you want to control just Morphing, make sure that no Wah or pedal pitch effects are activated. To control just Wah, switch off pedal pitch effects andmake sure no parameters are set up for Morphing. If you want to use just Pedal Pitch, make sure, that no Wah effectis active, and the current Rig includes no morphed parameters. In order to avoid accidental pitch jumps, the MorphPedal needs to be moved through the heel position and therefore always starts shifting from the original pitch.
There is another possible setup with two pedals: you could decide to control Morphing via the Remote’s Rig Buttons1-5 and completely skip the Morph Pedal controller. In this case you would end up with a dedicated volume pedal, plus a Wah pedal leveraged for pedal pitch effects. The Wah Pedal would be set up with “WahPedal >Pitch”, like inthe example Three Pedals: Comfortable above. -
Monitor volume can only be controlled by sending CC73 or by using a dedicated pedal. It is not available as a pedal link option.

The ethernet port on the Profiler can only be used with the Remote. External MIDI pedals have to use their own power supply and must be connected using a MIDI cable from the out of the pedal to the MIDI in of the Profiler.
The Profiler uses preassigned MIDI program changes in perform mode. All you need to do is send the appropriate MIDI pogram change from the MIDI pedal to the Profiler to switch between slots and performances.
In Browse mode you have to assign MIDI program changes to the rigs that you want to use.
The procedure is explained in the reference manual
here is the expert:
MIDI Program Change Assignments and Settings
On the next System Settings page you can assign up to 128 MIDI program change numbers to Rigs in your BrowsePool. Sending these program change numbers from any MIDI controller will load these assigned Rigs.
To do so, first select the Rig you want to assign a program change number to and then press the SYSTEM button.Navigate to “Browse Mode PrgChg” page using the right page button, select a desired Program Change using thesoft knob labeled “MIDI PrgChg#” and then press the soft button labeled “Assign”. Use the soft button labeled“Unassign” to unassign a Rig.You also need to set both devices to the same MIDI channel or choose Omni in the Profiler so it responds to al MIDI channels.

Trying to do it with Rig Manager. To answer the other question, yes the files are unzipped.
I did not try it with a Thumb drive. Isn't it supposed to work either way?
Apparently you missed this sentence on the download page:
-
How are you trying to import the presets? By USB stick or with Rig Manager?
-
You need to activate the look for beta versions option in the preference menu of Rig Manager to update to beta version from Rig Manager.
-
you need to delete the presets and reinstall them because they are referencing to a wrong algorithm because you imported them using the wrong version of the OS.
-
Did you make sure to set the delay mix to the maximum value like Robrecht suggested?
-
Please take a look at the last page of your system menu to verify that you are running 5.0 public beta
-
the new delays are only available in the 5.0 public beta.
-
did you update the Profiler to 5.0 public beta?
