Ah well, could be. I'd rather have one 88-key keyboard than 2 shorter ones.

Holy fuck. Why do you have 2 midi-keyboards (I'm assuming that's what they are)? Awesome wall of guitars also!

To get back to it: there is nothing wrong with Strymon, even in contrary. I loved them and never would've thought I was going to get rid of them. I might even buy them again in the future, for a non-rack setup. It's just that I didn't need all the options they offer and I've switched to the belief that if it's good enough for people in the crowd, it's just plain good enough. The chorus in the Mobius is better than the one in the Kemper for sure, but no one in a crowd will ever notice it. Hence why I went all-Kemper, even for effects. The 2290 is just one of my favourite units ever.

Will try that tonight. I have to say, it's a really nice profile, but it just didn't give me the acoustic feeling.
-
Just mentioning it here for the webdev(s): I had to re-set my avatar after a day. I set it the other day and when I came back to the forums, it wasn't recognised again. Not a big issue, but worth mentioning, imo.

Just tried it out and honestly, it didn't sound like an acoustic at all to my ears. A very nice, usable clean was all I got from it. Sounds a bit like the direct signal from the guitar with some EQing. Might not have used it right, though. I used an Ibanez RG7321 into it just full volume (I have no tone knob on it) and that didn't work, so I got my Strat and that yielded about the same results. My SG into it was nicer, but it's also easily the highest quality guitar I own.

I downloaded it. Looking forward to trying it out later. Will test with different guitars.

Hi,
not sure wether this is the right place - or if there even is a right place - for this.
I'm looking for profiles of Verellen Amplifiers, most particularly the Skyhammer. The Loucks or Meatsmoke would be nice as well and even the pre-amps would be welcome.
Don't have to be free, but it's preferred, of course.Kind Regards,

I think your easiest option is to just get an OC-3 and put it in the loop.
-
If possible, you could work in performance slots for the effects as well. E.g. driven sound is performance slot 1, driven sound with delay is performance slot 2, driven sound with phaser is slot 3, driven sound with delay and phaser is slot 4.
If you don't need too many different slots within a song, that could work.

Cool setup!
I'd have expected a burning soundcard or something like this ...
But the result seems to be a little different ...?!I'd expect his amp to blow...

Either my Gibson SG Standard or my Ibanez RG7321, both in this picture (along with the Kemper).

Awesome stuff! Might have to look into this.

I had both the Timeline and the Mobius before I got the Kemper and decided to get rid of them. They're great pedals, but the Kemper gives me anything I'd like and the plan is to eventually get a 2290 anyway.

I think this amp will be overpriced in Europe as usual !!
Mini Rectifier : Streetwater USD999 (768€), and Thomann is 1348€
Mark V 25 : USD1300 > what will be the price at Thomann, at least 2000€ !!! (?)When I see a MarkIIC+ in France at 1400€...
http://www.leboncoin.fr/instruments_de_musique/691280202.htmPffff...
A IIC+ is another beast, though.
Used prices on Mesa are starting to be do-able around here also.On the whole gimmick thing: might be a tad strong expressed, but I don't lift the main weight of my gear when I go out to play anyway. The furthest I move something is from the car onto a cart or from the cart onto the stage. 100W is just nice to have when you have no PA for the amplifier and need headroom and the MKV has a lot of switching options should you want breakup at (slightly) lower volumes.

The Harly EL84 is a really nice one indeed.
I personally also like the Fluff Gemini Clean for jazz, but it's totally not a Jazz amp usually. Just does the trick for me. Another personal favourite is the Badcat Sparkle Clean profile. -
Look for a profile that is really clean. A jazz-guitarists favourite could be a Fender Twin Reverb, for instance. Maybe add a little reverb or compression, but don't overdo it. Also ask if he plays straight into the amp or with a pedalboard.

Very nice pic and cool rig. Thanks for sharing!
Just a warning: brush your teeth after drinking Coke, that stuff is toxic!
Don't brush them directly after though, that'll hurt your teeth even more!
Cool rig man! What board are you using?

I think with all the wattage options the Mark V already has, this is a solution to a non-existing problem. Could be cool for some people, but I mainly see it as a gimmick, to be honest. A full size Mark V isn't that much more trouble to haul around and its resale value will probably be way higher, as there are a lot more people that would want one.
