DamianGreda Thank you. Very helpful tool.
Thank you ! Right click anywhere on the plugin window and chose About . There should be PayPal Coffee button .
Are you using Mac or Win version? Still don't know if Mac version is working.

I've checked it. I couldn't get it installed by using the installer, but I could extract it and move it to the correct taget location. It works. Even on my M1 mac mini. But I needed to execute it the first time from finder by clicking on open in the context menu and confirming the start request.
Thank you for this info. I will investigate it further. I'm not a mac guy so it is hard sometimes.
I really like that it seems to store the edit buffer, not the last saved state of the active rig. This is exactly how it should be. I have to unlock everything on the profiler to get the full state back, but that is as expected and just something to consider.
I have no control over how RM exports rigs. This is really pure coincidence. I would more recommend saving the edited rig before copying it to the plugin.
But I am very happy that it will be useful to someone else besides me
Could anyone check Mac OS X version? (spotter ?)

DamianGreda since the plugin is not crypto signed and will be rejected by mac have you considered open sourcing it?
Yes - that was my intention. It will be soon on the github. I will post the links.
Like I can store a rig within a DAW? But I cannot use it anyway (the plugin doesn't do anything audio wise) - I think I need some visual explanation
Well - you can copy/paste the rig from plugin window to RM and load it to your KPA at a later time.
It is just for storing Profile with the session . This plugin does not do any audio processing.
This is only for the convenience of having a profile stored in the track with your DAW session. So you do not need to remember or write down profile you used on some track.
Sometimes you have to go back to some session to record some additional part, and then you could use stored profile with RM and KPA.
skoczy just:
1) copy paste some file from RM or desktop to plugin (you can resize the plugin window- should be stored also)
2)save the session
3)close the session
4)open the session
5) check plugin and try to copy paste rig to RM or desktop
Thats all
Don't get why this messages popup . Have to read some articles about it .
Ok guys. Heres updated windows version:

Could you be so kind to test it?
Hi DamianGreda looks interesting, looking forward to try that out. For my project i parsed the files (export from rigmanager). I guess you took a similiar approach
I was parsing files in ToastME editor. For simple file storage it is unnecessary step witch could lead to corrupted rig files in case of bug. In a matter of fact you can store any file with this plugin.
thank you for trying the plugins. I belive i have posted debug versions which will not work on other machines than my pc. Sorry for that. I will reupload proper versions soon.
Ehhh ... thats why testing is so important. I always forget about that.
Great idea, but where do i find it in Logic? I installed the mpkg and it doesn't show up in the plugin-manager. I'm confused...
Should be under Audiounit plugins . I've tested this only in High Sierra so there may be some bug or some security that block the AU component. I will check this later.
Monkey_Man Thank you!
I missed it in my projects and that's why I wrote this simple tool. I don't have to bother to write down the rigs somewhere that I used in case I need to add some guitar parts at a later time.
Hi , I wrote a simple plugin that will store rig / performance / preset file in your track in the DAW with the session.
You can use right mouse button to cop/pase directly from/to RigManager or try to use drag-and-drop.
Tested in :
Logic (on OSX) and Sonar,Reaper (Windows)
Mac OS X AU/VST3 : https://www.dropbox.com/s/c59awn5bpuyzi8i/Rigkeeper.dmg?dl=1
Windows VST3 :https://www.dropbox.com/s/es60r0eav2k65oh/Rigkeeper_VST3_x64.exe?dl=1

If you like it and find it useful, consider buying me a coffee using right click -> about-> PayPal Coffe button

... or use S/PDIF with Git Studio on the left channel into a corresponding mono track.
The biggest benefit is that you can't mess around with "input gain" on an S/PDIF input on the audio interface. Just keep all faders or volume settings at 0dB for recording AND for reamping. Safe bet.
I've seen too many people struggeling with analog connections, messed up gain staging etc.
PS: If you use the Direct Out as recommended by Nicky, I would recommend you rather use Git Studio into a Line In of your audio interface instead of Git Analog into an Instrument (HiZ) input.
This is also good solution . I think Adam tried but something went wrong. Maybe wrong interface configuration or wrong input selected in DAW track input while analog in was still connected .
Just ordered myself a balanced female XLR to 1/4 inch TRS jack cable.
Lets see what happens! fingers crossed its something good lol.
Why not two of them to record Stereo Main Outs (or DI on one channel)?
I went through my kemper and xlr out direct into my interface i just bypassed/turned off the amp cab stack and eq and all fx i will re-record another DI going direct into my interface tonight after work i didnt think there would be a difference.
The DI you posted is ok . Just wanted to hear that there are some signal anomalies. And there was. You don't have to post another DI . Just connect KPA like we said (I'm using KPA XLR to interface TRS connection but you can try with ordinary TS cable). The important thing is if you record like this you propably hit clip region of your mic preamp. And this may be the couse of your problems.
^ THIS. And remember to switch in clarett software control panel (or front panel)to line input (not instrument input).
